Well for a given value of "song" :-) All of them are valid efforts, but the creators have a history of applying rather strict rules to what is a legit and valid entry and do not shy away from retroactively changing the rules.

It does say photo, now that I read it again, but having 100 pics of people with cat ears on a screen and then taking a photo of that. Is essentially a photo of 100 people with a cat ears. And some credit should be given to the team for generally not being uptight people, so perhaps they'd be cool with that?!

@Jelitten, interesting point. The biggest kayaks are 2 + 1 meaning two adults and a child. To fit 5 people in one would be challenging at least. Given the structural lightness of these things it is bound to break. So... if they actually want a photo, not a picture ... scratch this.

The whole achievements thing - while being meant as fun challenge - is falling apart if you ask me. On their end it must be hell to administrate and on the backers end it seems to get frustrating, having all the work (photos, emails, tweets etc) rendered useless because the rules and achievements keep changing all the time. I am not sure if this will not hurt the campaign in the long run more than it helps.
I actually do not give a dman, I opted out of this whole craziness once the first additional rules were announced 24 hours AFTER the achievements have been unlocked. All I want is my two decks of cards, prefereably with a bit more agreeable shipping rates. Considering that shipping in the US is included in $20/35 the additional $15 for europe are a premium, holding off a lot of european backers if you ask me.
TL;DR: Don't waste your time with achievements, try to get lower shipping rates if you want to push this project.

Lower shipping rates would definatly help. but the achievement are fun as well (at least to see everybody go crazy over them). The rule change was late, but nessacery. I forgive them ;)

@Tamara, I don't know about that... there have been negative comments about it on fb and twitter, mainly from people who went to great lengths to get photos only to be rejected because they did not have "update9" in it - which wasn't initially required. Those photos have been a lot of work to get. Many sympathized with them and I do too. Bad handling.

@Joe: a lot of them didn't include #update9 in the picture. Without that, it doesn't count. Have been tweeting people who have done this for a retake, so who knows?

Also, someone needs to explain the concept of a selfie. You have to take the photo, not someone else. Too many goat "selfies" being rejected because a 2nd person is taking the photo.
