I see Elan, posted a new update a day or so ago. But he left out a critical detail that I have been requesting for the last 9 days about the delivery timeline.
Has anyone here heard anything about it yet?
Has he communicated to anyone here? How long did it take? I messaged him on the 28th and then again every 2-3 days, and there is still no response from him yet.

I do not communicate with creators outside of kickstarter because if I need to bring up an issue about a project, kickstarter only accepts info they have (not gmail messages).
Backers or creators can not manipulated messages, comments or project details. Only Kickstarter can.

The reason why he still brings it up, is because he knows that every one will stop and pay attention to him. He even says he doesn't care about the shipping time, he only cares about the attention.
Well I would get it if they hadn't said it was an estimate... I mean, telling people they are going to get something at a certain time and not delivering is messed up. I don't even think you understand my question, I am not asking for a specfic time line, I am asking if the current delivery date is still valid. Issues to arise which can delay things, but Creators need to inform their backers as soon as possible. At this point it should be fairly clear if the delivery date is still valid or not and should be communicated to us (if it is still valid you may thing, why would he: because it has been asked).
Eric, The root of my question is accountability, right now I expect the number of backers is not effecting the delivery date since Elan has not stated so. Since I have been asking about this for so long, and the popularity of this project has been know for a long time, it will be unacceptable to announce a delay due to popularity after the campaign ends. I don't care about reasonable delays if they are communicated as soon as possible.
Also, this comment section is the only public dialog between the backers and creators. Its main purpose is to talk about the project, which includes questions such as mine. During the campaign it is almost unheard of of to not see the creator commenting on a daily biases.
Poz they seriously won't do that until the END man. It's an ESTIMATE, and it will only ever be an estimate. Also they said that their gmail account got shut down because they we're bombarded. I just think that given the popularity there is a good change it will be delayed. I am on the outside of the decision making process so I don't know all the details. I just think that is a substantial amount of orders and it may be hard to fulfill by their estimated delivery date.

Eric, I would find 3-4 years severely unacceptable. But any delay outside of 2 months (this is my own subjective opinion) should be updated on as soon as it is discovered.
There are so many moving parts though that an estimate isn't something that can be changed until the gears start moving. I assume they're already doing everything it takes to ensure that things are being made now. When they hit a snag, they will let us know. That's how it should work and how it's been.

At the start of the campaign the video said there would be "sometimes goats", since the deck has crazy expanded since then we need to know what the new ratio of goats to kittens are! I have checked the FAQ and consulted many internet wizards and still have no idea. I need to make sure of the exact ratio before anyone gets my money!

Going through some tough stuff at work. recently discovered my delivery guy was stealing money and other items from work. Had to start the ball rolling on getting rid of him, which means I will be stuck working twice as hard, twice as long for the same pay until they find me another guy.
