@Creeper...I took care of a backyard colony as well when I lived in a house with backyard and I TNRed 8 females and 4 males and build them winter boxes. A few of the males like Skinny Vinny who turned into Fat Louie and Gangsta because of his scars I could pet but most just stayed away from human contact.

Kittykitty is TERRIFIED of humans. I've been feedin him for a year - he'll sit outside my window and stare at me until I do. But when I open the door to put food out, he runs 10 ft away. His ear is tipped- guessing he did not like being trapped an fixed. Maybe had a rough life with humans. Our other strays that pass through (we named about 10 regulars) aren't as skittish. Only one would let me pet her though.

@cha! I love that! I love our cat community. My apartment is in a row of brownstones, so our backyards are close, split by fences. We all take about our cat community and share the names we gave them. Like thumper who jumps off the fence onto the doghouse, every morning. :) and en empty lot nearby has their own community. Our neighborhood never sees any rats!!
The friendly cat is the dominate cat (DP) around my house, it kicks the other kitties butts.... the the big head honcho is the Ground Hog (we call him Ninja Bill), no cat dare mess with him. Then again, even the squirrels here (which are mean spirited indeed, they will chuck walnuts out of our tree and have impeccable aim) pick on all but the DP and Bob.

Contrary to popular public opinion killing stray cats doesn't solve anything it just creates a vacuum for new cats to move in. Not any viable solution not just because of the killing kitties part

Everyone on the hood takes care of the kitties. Most have tipped ears, and every empty lot/park in the area has little houses and bowls of food and water. They started construction in an empty lot and I saw a guy outside really upset because they threw out all the houses he built them. :( so we're tryin to work with the crew now. I did get a pic of 6 kittehs sunbathing on the hood of the bulldozer one Sunday morning.

So, a friend of mine is backing the Conan game. After checking in on the comments section once in a while, I just have to say that I am soooooo glad that we aren't like them. This comments section is a blast. The hive-mind is strong over there. In here, we all jump together to spread the word of this game and help promote it. In the Conan comments section, I read a post where a backer posted a link to the Conan BGG page. The poster suggested that if people liked the page, it would help spread the word of Conan and possibly bring in more backers. He was immediately threatened with being reported to KS for spamming by at least 2 people ASAP.

There's something wrong with the kid. Either prescription drugs or a mental issue. No joke. It's heartbreaking, especially since the owner was trying to be the first guy to give him a second chance, but there's a point where it's a detriment to the business. I hope the owner does something about it soon.
Well it's certainly a shame. Unfortunately you can only do so much to help others, especially if they aren't seeking help or trying to improve themselves.

He stole our "pizza fund" money. A bowl of change that belonged to the owner. Money from the boss' sons school fundraiser. My tape adapter so I can't listen to my jams on out radio. All of this since Wednesday.
I can understand that too. And I can deal and get along with with anyone of any age, and teenagers will be teenagers. But mixing the two VASTLY different age groups was never a happy time. (See also: I hate MLA, it's silly and I've never used it since)

We use APA which is fine because that's what I needed to use in undergrad. The age thing so far hasn't been a big issue but everyone is at least in their mid-twenties.
Well Trinkets, anything you could do I assume you have. Some people, unfortunately, can't be helped. There isn't really anything else to be done but move forward from now. I am sorry that you and someone close to you wound up having to suffer because of him.

I built mine out of double storage containers and put the insulating Styrofoam in between and around. Also put the containers on bricks.
