When I was looking at houses, it was really hard to get past décor as well, and focus on the house proper. I finally found the place I'm in -- biggest selling point was the fact that there is no alley behind me, and the lots abutting my back yard are 750 feet deep -- so no backfence neighbors!

As for fixing a house up, my father worked in/owned a lumberyard for 38 years. I have worked in the framing crew or in the yard for 19 years. I also build funiture and cabinets on the side. For me doing it is not any peoblem. The additional cost is. Housing prices are high here.

I warned my friends about it, but that was before we got confirmation that it's fake, so I told my friends on fb that it's probably fake. One of them replied with "I've heard about it from some pretty credible sources, I just wasn't interested." I shot back with an explanation that I had since contacted Elan directly, and he confirmed it. Then I dropped the mic and walked off the stage while giving aces to the crowd.

One publisher of books I frequently bought from (they closed two years ago after 50 years in business) sleeved ALL their books in the same kinds of thick poly plastic. I found you had to tear the plastic covers off soon. After a few years on the shelves, the sleeved adhered to the cover artwork, and tore away large chunks of binding. Used titles found online are often damaged in some way.

The plastics used out-gas, and the chemicals in the plastic attack the cards pretty hard. Formaldehyde is the worst by-product, but there are several other bad gasses..
