Looks like they are still going to hold a Chinese New Year parade downtown despite the ice roads. Good on them. I'm too much of a wimp to brave this weather. The temperature will be nice (in the mid 40's) but I can't afford to slip, fall and break something since I have no insurance or paid sick leave.
that's one thing about the netherlands that is epic: eveyone has a health insurance. so no worries if something happens.

It sucks that our elected officials are still arguing about universal health care for everyone. Seems like a good start to me. Then work on encouraging people to drop the crap food and eat healthier. That would give us big savings in the long run and help the environment

It's been good. It's some magic trick instructional video KS. The rewards aren't anything special. It might get funded (I have doubts there) but there's no way it'll beat EK

There is no way that KS is going to come anywhere near matching what this campaign did. Elan reached his goal in 10 minutes. That other KS has only 4 backers and they only have 27 days left. Plus, there are zero comments so they are not any sort of fun like we are. Bah, a pox on Speedy. May he get nothing but bills in his mailbox
