@Creeper: Just add cheese...lots and lots of cheese.
Anja "Cha!" Allen 2015-03-03T21:52:16-05:00
@Dr. Potatten...yes! When Mike's was still at the Reading Terminal Market (RTM) I got steaks there. He was for a little while in the food court at Walnut & Broad. Too bad he was ousted from RTM. I do like Tony Luke's too :)
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-03T21:52:23-05:00
@GM- zactly. and garlic.
Anja "Cha!" Allen 2015-03-03T21:52:48-05:00
@Dr. Potatten...we can tag team :)
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-03T21:53:01-05:00
Speaking of non-phonetic pronunciations, did you know that Lynyrd Skynyrd is pronounced "Len-nerd Skin-nerd"?
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-03T21:53:41-05:00
Ah, yes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band that didn't die young enough.
@Creeper: Oh, and some bread crumbs to give it a bit of crunch. Puree the cauliflower and then add the breadcrumbs, spread in the bottom of a shallow pan, cover with cheese, bacon bits...and whatever else you would like.
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-03T21:54:54-05:00
Oooh! bacon bits! wish i had those...that would be goooood. Ok - mom on phone. Gotta chat with her abit.
Anja "Cha!" Allen 2015-03-03T21:55:13-05:00
How about a KittenCorps cook book :)
Hi @LZ...I recall you like to cook :)
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-03T21:55:38-05:00
Then, before you do all that, throw away the cauliflower, because it's gross, and replace it with bread
Oh~! I like that idea Cha!!! We might even be able to get the creators to supply us with a cheesy or corny idea or two for it (assuming they wouldn't want to actually give us a recipe).
@LZ: Cauliflower isn't bad. Most people/places just over cook it until its mushy. Just drop it into some boiling water for like 45seconds, then either serve right away, or put in an ice bath. When ready to serve, just sautee with a bit of Garlic, bacon, cheese, or whatever else you enjoy.
Anja "Cha!" Allen 2015-03-03T21:57:59-05:00
Well @LZ started a Kitty Chow thread on the forum...and considering how much talk there is here about food I do not think it'd be difficult
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-03T22:01:52-05:00
GM, I'll take your word for it. I've never had a cauliflower I didn't hate. The worst was when someone mashed some up and brought it to a pot luck with gravy in another bowl, without a warning that it was mashed evil instead of potatoes
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-03T22:18:49-05:00
ohh, sorry - i missed Potatten's comment.... credit where credit is due.
"Diamond Dan" Drake 2015-03-03T22:21:02-05:00
Right, thought I remembered seeing that portion of the lettuce bashing.
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-03T22:21:13-05:00
hahah ...nope. Looking out window, can see bedroom wall (outside! not inside) - water is just pouring down the entire length of it. can't tell if it's actually raining, or if it's just snow melting from fire escape above window.
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-03T22:21:38-05:00
Maybe calling it iceberg lettuce was their way of letting everyone know how worthless it is
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-03T22:37:23-05:00
Potatten - i see what you did there.
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-03T22:38:15-05:00
But would the wood have stayed afloat with two people on it? I'm honestly asking. I've only seen the part where the boat sinks. The rest seemed pointless
The wood would likely have floated, but would be a bit deeper in the water. Much like a cork pushed under the surface wants to pop back up LZ. DID linked the mythbusters video.
I like Tony Luke's right now, I'll get one from Mike's Steaks in the Comcast Center if I'm really hankering for one.
@Cha! No problem. Glad you like the idea!
I knew that GCoD :)
i'm going to cook stupid cauliflower and try to make it taste like cheesy bread
Hey guys, remember when we beat out Redding Rainbow?
Ah, apparently Creeper does :)
It is an amazing idea isn't it Cha! I'd love to help hide the Trinkets and clues all over Philly :)
@DDD - Remember when we DOUBLED them?!
@Creeper: Just add cheese...lots and lots of cheese.

Sounds like a plan Cha! Now we just need for it to become an official event.
@Creeper: Oh, and some bread crumbs to give it a bit of crunch. Puree the cauliflower and then add the breadcrumbs, spread in the bottom of a shallow pan, cover with cheese, bacon bits...and whatever else you would like.

Then, before you do all that, throw away the cauliflower, because it's gross, and replace it with bread
@Creeper: If you have bacon, just fry it up until it's a little crisp, chop it, and cook it a bit more if you want crispier.
Yes, Cha!, I do like to cook. My dinner guests were raving about my green beans on Saturday
Oh~! I like that idea Cha!!! We might even be able to get the creators to supply us with a cheesy or corny idea or two for it (assuming they wouldn't want to actually give us a recipe).

Oh yeah...I plan on experimenting soon with biscuit recipies so that I can re-create the ones from Popeyes.
But time to disappear for a bit, and enjoy the food that just arrived.
lol I feel the same way LZ
Haha! A KC cookbook, There's at least a days and a half worth of info on what food certain corps members do and do not like, I think :)
@DDD...we can use those as personal quote right from the comments :)
That's like the tip of the iceberg DDD, which most of us agree is gross and a waste of space.
I found a playlist with songs all about food
https://www.youtube.com/watch…
@GreatMountain...enjoy your food
That is amazing Cha!
I have a couple of good biscuit recipes, including my version of the Red Lobster Biscuits. My gravy is where it's at.
Tip of the iceberg lettuce I assume?
Interesting version of Sway
https://www.youtube.com/watch…
@DDD....clever.
man... must be warming up... bedroom wall looks like a waterfall..
That was the intend pun DDD :-P
Either that or you're tripping balls Creeper.
ohh, sorry - i missed Potatten's comment.... credit where credit is due.
Right, thought I remembered seeing that portion of the lettuce bashing.

Something to steer clear of anyway. :P
A warning... I see, you might be on to something LZ.
Whoa, the crowd apparently doesn't like lettuce puns.
Or maybe the titanic reference... Too soon?
Hey, you two from Philadelphia -- is Scrapple a thing there too, or is it more of a Baltimore thing?
THEY BOTH WOULD HAVE FIT ON THE WOOD
It's a thing here GCoD.... it's alright if it's good. And it will be OK Creeper, time will go on and on.
Titanic -- the cinema equivalent of any book that begins: "It was a dark and stormy night ..."
Right? https://www.youtube.com/watch…
Keyword GCoD: book
Potatten - i see what you did there.

I found a pic to upload :)
DDD*
Are we doing pussy pics too? Wait, allow me to rephrase...are we posting pics of our cats too?
Well, tat was good food.
My phone isn't letting me watch it
@Cha: The original phrasing was fine. We all knew what you meant. It's the ones that would have walked in just then that you needed to worry about.
That shirt is amazing Cha!
YouTube mythbusters Titanic, should bring it right up. If needed add wood. Or door.
That's an awesome shirt! Speaking of tattoos...
We can, DP would let me take 'is pic... There others are much more skiddish. Too much ptsd from the squirrels and gophers for love alone to undo.
That is an awesome shirt Cha...got any extras?
@Dr Potatten..thanks, found it at 5 Below :)
What about tattoos?
@LZ...you're still looking for Matt to give you a zombie kitten tattoo? ;)
Did he draw something and you may tell us? I swear man, don't pull that non sense!
@GreatMountain... ;)
You not* apparently auto-correct will always be my enemy.
Oh, I should upload the painting we got at the tattoo convention...speaking of pussies ;)
No, he still hasn't drawn anything. I'll let you know if it happens
You do look like I imagined you would from your profile picture too Cha!.
@Dr. Potatten...my profile pic is actually a painting a friend did :)
It's certainly well done then Cha!
LZ - Well, I'm sure I could whip up some kind image you'll regret if oats doesn't deliver :P
Do it @DDD ;)
Gotta be Oats. I could whip up all kinds of images I would regret
Ok, I need to head to bed. Good night everyone. Sleep tight! Be careful of that peer pressure too LE ;-P
LZ* !!!
Night Potatten!
The idea behind my original statement, though, was that Oats woukd draw something so awesome I would be compelled to make it permanent
At LZ - haha :) Fair enough
Was it just of Lord Zombitten - or specifically just drawn *for* you
Why did I type "at?"
...I swear I dropped some water on me just now...but I can't find where the spot that it dropped is...I can feel it too.
@Potatten: Goodnight you weird person you.
night Dr. P
AT DDD - it took me a second to realize what you were referring to...
OUT DAMNED SPOT!
Creeper, both, but more that it's of Lord Zombitten. I could possibly make an allowance for an awesome LZ drawn for someone else.
In Kitten corps fashion - while cooking, said outload "Moar cheese" because.... i mean.... always
Nice hat you're wearing @GCoD...who is your friend? ;)
@Dr. Potatten...good night, be safe tomorrow!
Look at all the kittehs!!
That's Leonard! (You know, Leonard "Bones" McCoy). It's an old railroad conductor's hat.
Note the kitty toys scattered around the floor, too.
