Everything is covered in a light layer of soot and ash. Hopefully we get some rain on Thursday.
Cape fires are a natural occurrence due to the Fynbos that grows here, however, it hasn't burnt in about 10 years and the control fires that they burn in winter to help minimize the build-up of burnable material is not enough. Especially in wet winters. So now we have 10 years worth of kindling that have take to this fire like a duck to water.

We have over 200 volunteer firefighters (men and women) out right now to make sure that it doesn't burn down into the town or over the mountain into other residential areas.
@Chameleon: That one looks like something my cousin's little one might enjoy...I may end up ordering one for her as a Christmas gift....then I would still need to find something for her brother, and the other 4 little ones....hmmm....decisions decisions.

Terminating employees, running reports, waiting for approvals....my day just keeps on going. Sucks that I work up 2hours before my alarm feeling like someone stuck my stomach with a knife and was twisting it, painstakingly slow.
It's been getting better through the day, the more I visit the throne. so could just be something I ate...though nothing in my diet has changed over the past 3-4 months.

@Geist: Wear a latex suit(or biohazard suit), for three days straight, and stay in a motel for the same amount of time. Make sure than before you put it on you wash completely, ever millimeter of your body. Also shave all hair off of you, so that it doesn't get left at the scene. Since you will be in that suit, who knows how many other peoples DNA you would be covered in, which will be left at the scene.
Also...that is highly unlikely to work, just saying.

Hi Corie, You don't have to worry about that. Once they are ready to ship they will send out a survey confirming everything ordered and delivery address.
You will be sent a backer survey before they are sent out Corie. They have not been emailed out to backers yet. You will be able to ensure that it is correctly sent to you at that time. Make sure to update all information with KS as well for future use.
