OK, I've investigated further. Although Volos included @gameofkittens in the tweet, it did not get sent to @gameofkittens because it did not START with @gameofkittens. (Gotta love Twitter.) Every one that got picked up started @gameofkittens.
That explains a good deal CB, because I did pick-up a number of entries that your scraper seemed to miss.... that seems silly. Twitter is silly.

Yep. I had to force myself to learn twitter... i still hate it. but, if you scroll through a feed of all the people you follow, you'll more than likely see ".@tomhanks" ".@gameofkittens - I love you!" It's because that will show up in everyone's news feed, where at Starting with just "@gameofkittens" will only show up in their replies-no news feed.

Cory Booker wasn't even my mayor. He was the Mayor of Newark. But, he did come into my restaurant and ask me out for coffee (this was right after he was elected and not really twitter famous). I was intimidated by going out with a Mayor, so i turned him down. Been kicking myself ever since... still have his business card though. :)

Took me forever to redirect http://ow.ly/KdMcn to YouTube. Twitter conveniently replaced the trailing space with a nonbreaking space so my script was adding that to the URL! (Stupid Twitter!) I now have everything working until someone uses a different URL shortener that doesn't play by the rules.
The good news is: redirected URL's work now! :-)

Some are showing up more than once now because they have been tweeted multiple times. I wish people wouldn't do things like that. Which tweet do we use in that case? One was even tweeted by two different people. It doesn't help their chances because the Likes count is the same for all of them.

I would definitely think as long as @gameofkittens is in the tweet, it's counted. They'll receive a notification that someone tweeted to them.
