Well, the reason it made so much is because of theoatmeal's followers, which I just got lucky to see a facebook post a week before it launced. I'm glad I did. I can't wait for this game to finally be shipped. It looks like the nsfw deck should become about as popular a college game as cards against humanity. Maybe not that much, but the point still stands. Be back when I'm bored enough with Spore to eat; namely 1 am or so.

Well, I don't have $100, so looks like I'll have to find it somewhere else! New ones for $250 or used for $50... hmm...

Hmm... Forgot installation can take a long time sometimes. I'm used to my computer being fast enough to download this stuff that can take up to an hour in just like 3 minutes. It does have a heat problem though, and I left my large mug/computer stand in my dorm. I'll have to grab it tomorrow.

Passed the cell stage as an omnivore, obviously. I have the perfect path lined out for the entire species. I've played through like 5 times already and know my creature and path work so well, though it can turn out to be expensive.

First stage took half an hour. Creature stage takes a bit longer, though. Longest of them all, not counting the space stage which goes as long as you do till you get bored. Maybe I'll make friends with the Grox and go through the center of the universe. You get an awesome tool from meeting that guy.

DANG it's a quiet night, even for a weekend, which is when you'd think people like us would be in on our computers until 5 am. Back to spore! I'm now in the tribal stage. The fastest paced and probably hardest of them all because you need to be the most strategic with your resources until you're big enough to conquer anyways. They just keep throwing new tribes at you left and right!

I realized today that I can't do dice at this point, though. I don't have the right tools. I tried to use my miter saw, but the wood tipped into the kerf, creating a slight bevel. I need either a table saw, a band saw with a fence, or a scroll saw with a fence

@lz if your going to drill into a small wood block try soaking it for 20 min so the grains don't get in the way. It also make the wood semi flexible so drilling wood (heh heh) be easier.

I think it's just a machine that rounds of the corners of the cards, you could either have a big stamp cutting the corners or rotate the card along a running knife.

they don't come in. we have a bunch of community cats. They get fixed, their ears tipped, and they just all hang out. They don't really like humans, but we take care of them. There are a ton in my neighborhood - and we all love them. We don't have any rats in our hood. :) Kittykitty has been staying in my backyard for nearly two years now. Scrunchie is cute little nugget that I saw for a bit last year. Someone got him fixed, and now he's hanging out with me and kittykitty.
Scrunchie learned the ways of Kittykitty. Woke up one morning and saw a different cat staring at me, and nearly dropped my coffee cup. scared the crap out of me!

Never played it. I have this really crazy addction to a game on my phone - anthill. easy premise, one of those... oh, i know you guys know the term, forgive- when you're looking down on the... top down... whatever... you have like the ariel view... and you're trying to keep your anthill safe. it's just a strategy game, but for some reason, i keep trying to get higher scores on some levels. It's very addicting.
