I('m not a lawyer, but they can't just take the house if their names are on the deed. She may be entitled to "his share" of the house. No more though. Also an Ex-wife has no claim on an estate unless she was named as such in a will. The kids, if his, would unless he disinherited them.

It sounds like he will die, which is sad ... they've been a triad for almost ten years now. But the antiquated laws don't recognize some of the aspects of their poly relationship, and his affairs were not in order. The ex-family has sued for power of medical attorney and won claiming the woman is "just a gold-digger".
They should probably get a copy of the will and the deed from the respective register of wills and recorder of deeds, and also contact a lawyer for good measure. Tell them not to sign any paper work until they do. Look into pro-bono lawyers in the area. The area of [Trusts and Estates] or [Real Estate].

Dang. The audio and video weren't working so I had to restart, a pain since I have 35 tabs to reopen (thank God for the closed tabs thing) and at least 5 are typically youtube videos, one is music. It's a sordid situation. Woman meets man, they are a couple. Woman meets second man, they form a triad. Second man falls seriously ill -- ex wife and kids swoop in and take man away and hide him -- and then start to systematically plunder his estate -- and he hasn't died yet.
Woman has no clue where he is, and all the courts will say is "he is alive". The ex-family is trying to get her and her other man evicted from the home the three of them bought ...

I('m not a lawyer, but they can't just take the house if their names are on the deed. She may be entitled to "his share" of the house. No more though. Also an Ex-wife has no claim on an estate unless she was named as such in a will. The kids, if his, would unless he disinherited them.
It sounds like he will die, which is sad ... they've been a triad for almost ten years now. I like how now people pin daylight savings on Ben Franklin, but really he only mentioned it once in a satire on how the french are so lazy an extra hour of sleep could definitely help them. He also said that to wake them up, let every church bell be rung as loud as possible, and if that didn't work, fire cannons on every street corner. He was a really funny dude.
