@Creeper: I've never actually held a gun(other than paintball)...I would like to go to a firing range sometime though, just to see what it's like to fire a weapon. Also, I have an appreciation for aesthetically pleasing works of food....must stem from when I worked in the restaurant. Always wanted things to look perfect.
Just don't forget the ear pro GM! You won't be firing high explosives, but the noise still has impact.

@GM, get three buddies and go to shooters edge, off blackfoot. Reasonable rates, lots of awesome guns to choose from! Each person buys a box of ammo for each gun and have at er! Its run by ex-military and ex-cops, so the training is awesome, and its safe. We had a cop show us how to speed load a magnum 357 one time, so much fun!

You pitiful city folk! You have to go to a range and pay to rent a gun for one experience. We just buy them for all-in-one hunting, sport, fun, defense, and all else a gun can do but malicious harm. If you've been to Nebraska, you know actual, normal people here never are like that.

I've seen some great in city ranges, though. Just that alot of them are just a target at the end of a range. We go out to a field and shoot anything we deem lead-worthy. It's alot of fun if you find good objects. Or sniping competitions for a 3 meter patch of snow half a mile away showing my mom is the sniper of the family by far.

I'd get out of bed every morning and I would quickly go to the KittenCorps website and checkout if I gotten any Likes over the night and check if I wasn't taken over by another competitor. I watched until 1 hour after the deadline to make sure I was still at #4 before I went to bed.
This morning I jumped out of bed, checked the list and remembered the #KittenConsul challenge was over. Confused and without any goals in life yet I hit the showers, with an empty stare into the fastness of my own room I silently ate my cereal. Now I am work and stare at my computer and think what is my purpose in life now I now longer need to gather Likes for my #KittenConsul video for this awesome new card game on Kickstarter.

I feel a little lost too, but I was expecting it. I have to fight the urge to look at the database to see whether I need to add any locations. I removed my screen scraper after the deadline passed and it was a good thing I did. The Web Server that I THOUGHT was on EDT was actually on MDT (or PST, I'm not sure which) so it kept trying to run the script all the way up to 4 am. Of course, after 1 am, the script was gone, so it just errored out instead of messing up the data. My foresight paid off.
At least I can keep checking here for updates about all the parties I'm going to miss.
You missed one entry, but I had it on the manual list. It only had 44 likes. I did get one last leaderboard capture with your link and a manual click through in the dead of the night; but it matched yours perfectly CB, so I tossed what I didn't note manually.
I also stopped manually imputing entries after a certain time last night, so you did wind up with more than me still. I just couldn't keep scrounging for them after a certain point (I took a nap).
I am a little lost since I don't have much to update any more too.... though Creeper and GC bogarted most of the updating of the list there at the end.

Yeah, in the ones that got missed, people just didn't realize that you can't add punctuation at the end of a hashtag and expect a hashtag search for the unpunctuated tag to pick it up. I'd ask you for the one that got missed so I could add it, but the winners have already been selected so it would be moot.

Overall, I have felt really useful for the last two weeks.
Same here CB! (Though not quite AS useful....) I did catch a number of those that got logged. Any really late ones that didn't make my list that I have been able to stumble upon didn't come anywhere near close to the top thirty. There was, of course, a couple of submissions well after the fact....
You're program did however note those, so all in all everyone got counted. That was the purpose of the manual list in the first place. To be a safe-guard and redundant back. You did pick-up the later ones I didn't input, but like you said the contest is over so it's rather moot. They didn't manage to get very many likes anyway. The ONLY last day video submission that did well was Creeper's and she killed it...
[Thus the comment section fell into incessant ringing, awaiting a time when someone might speak (probably Zem) and finally put an end to the evil quietness]

That should be plenty, if not a little in excess of what they may be looking for (make it a universal game day so there aren't too many just standing by just in case). You CAN always through more than one party too.

As I said in the Video, my event comes from within a meetup group where we use an RSVP so we don't get too much people in the Pub we are aloud to use every Monday. Making it a public event might complicate things and could create a very crowded situation. What should I do?
I have send an e-mail to EK asking about the possibility to use multiple dates if we get to much people that want to play and If I am able to state in the FaceBook event that people should RSVP via MeetUp.com.
Simply state the obvious Guardian. This event will be held (any number of times) RSVP at (name a place). Messages will be sent out to make reservations, that are first come first serve, for all dates such dates. Sign-up quick! (You may also ask any local gaming place about it, since you ARE a confirmed winner now too).
Places have fire safety codes after all, so there is a maximum occupancy to deal with. Also what ever policy the pub may have in place. Just be forward and honest, why being straight forward and firm.

I'd get out of bed every morning and I would quickly go to the KittenCorps website and checkout if I gotten any Likes over the night and check if I wasn't taken over by another competitor. I watched until 1 hour after the deadline to make sure I was still at #4 before I went to bed.
This morning I jumped out of bed, checked the list and remembered the #KittenConsul challenge was over. Confused and without any goals in life yet I hit the showers, with an empty stare into the fastness of my own room I silently ate my cereal. Now I am work and stare at my computer and think what is my purpose in life now I now longer need to gather Likes for my #KittenConsul video for this awesome new card game on Kickstarter.
Only then it hit me... YOU! I HAVE YOU! My dear friends of the Kitten Corps everyone with their own silly minion where I still do not see the purpose of the endless stream of comments raining down on this Kickstarter page. Today, I am proud to be a member of the Kitten Corps and I shall disappoint nobody any longer, I will stand my ground and might and may my Usagineko take over the world!

I feel a little lost too, but I was expecting it. I have to fight the urge to look at the database to see whether I need to add any locations. I removed my screen scraper after the deadline passed and it was a good thing I did. The Web Server that I THOUGHT was on EDT was actually on MDT (or PST, I'm not sure which) so it kept trying to run the script all the way up to 4 am. Of course, after 1 am, the script was gone, so it just errored out instead of messing up the data. My foresight paid off.
At least I can keep checking here for updates about all the parties I'm going to miss.

You missed one entry, but I had it on the manual list. It only had 44 likes. I did get one last leaderboard capture with your link and a manual click through in the dead of the night; but it matched yours perfectly CB, so I tossed what I didn't note manually.
I also stopped manually imputing entries after a certain time last night, so you did wind up with more than me still. I just couldn't keep scrounging for them after a certain point (I took a nap).
I am a little lost since I don't have much to update any more too.... though Creeper and GC bogarted most of the updating of the list there at the end.
Yeah, in the ones that got missed, people just didn't realize that you can't add punctuation at the end of a hashtag and expect a hashtag search for the unpunctuated tag to pick it up. I'd ask you for the one that got missed so I could add it, but the winners have already been selected so it would be moot.
Overall, I have felt really useful for the last two weeks.
Same here CB! (Though not quite AS useful....) I did catch a number of those that got logged. Any really late ones that didn't make my list that I have been able to stumble upon didn't come anywhere near close to the top thirty. There was, of course, a couple of submissions well after the fact....
You're program did however note those, so all in all everyone got counted. That was the purpose of the manual list in the first place. To be a safe-guard and redundant back. You did pick-up the later ones I didn't input, but like you said the contest is over so it's rather moot. They didn't manage to get very many likes anyway. The ONLY last day video submission that did well was Creeper's and she killed it...

Hi Guys, you might have some suggestions here. I am able to host a party for around 80 people, you guys think this is enough or should I be heading for a much larger scale?
That should be plenty, if not a little in excess of what they may be looking for (make it a universal game day so there aren't too many just standing by just in case). You CAN always through more than one party too.
As I said in the Video, my event comes from within a meetup group where we use an RSVP so we don't get too much people in the Pub we are aloud to use every Monday. Making it a public event might complicate things and could create a very crowded situation. What should I do?
I have send an e-mail to EK asking about the possibility to use multiple dates if we get to much people that want to play and If I am able to state in the FaceBook event that people should RSVP via MeetUp.com.
I could use some advice right now :(
Simply state the obvious Guardian. This event will be held (any number of times) RSVP at (name a place). Messages will be sent out to make reservations, that are first come first serve, for all dates such dates. Sign-up quick! (You may also ask any local gaming place about it, since you ARE a confirmed winner now too).
They responded previously on an email saying the LZ COULD in fact host multiple parties. They even seemed thrilled about it.
Places have fire safety codes after all, so there is a maximum occupancy to deal with. Also what ever policy the pub may have in place. Just be forward and honest, why being straight forward and firm.

I can't see the final backer count, and total, the way it used to be(large numbers above the amount you pledged, which was above the creators info). Now it's just a small sentence stating that info.
