Wow, it's already almost 11:00 and 2 hours since the last comment again. Slow day and GTA makes thyme fly like you wouldn't believe. And tomorrow's friday and I have one class at 11:30 am, so I can stay up till like 2 am playing! Hope everyone had a good day and will have a better weekend. I know I will; going to Worlds of Fun with some of the exchange students in our district! See you all when I get back on later inevitably because I can't leave you all to your own devices and I compensate absence with long comments apparently, so see you all later!
All you need to play the game is two people. If four people know how to party, then that could have been a great party LZ. It is less in the quantity and more in the quality with people anyway.

I was really hoping to get an EK game before the trip but I can't do anything about that.
You could do whitewater rafting, that was a blast! If your group is outdoorsy anyway... I've also heard BaKhan that Comicon just isn't what it used to be. The rest sounds awesome though.

@Dr. P, I've never been, but would still like to, even if it is more commercial than it used to be. I'm not so much interested in meeting actors and such, but seeing some of the art, and games would be awesome! Oh well, next year I guess...
@BaKhan: You need to get there super early, even if you pre-order your tickets for it, to get into the games. I've gone to check what there is that might be a collectible, or to find the few McFarlan Dragon figures I'm missing(found a special edition on a few years ago that was $16).
And looking at it...one of the ones I got, which cost ~$20, is going for over $200 now on Amazon. Or, depending on which one you look at, it could be going for as little as ~$100(both taken from the first page...and I spelt McFarlane wrong in my last post).

@BaKhan: You were just ahead of your times, just like me. I was one of the people that would always sit with their friends, and play M:TG before school, and at lunch. Then after school, I was in band every day except Friday.

@GM, those dragons are sweet! I have a few that are made out of colored glass that are pretty awesome. I've always loved dragons, ever since I was a little kid and saw Sleeping Beauty for the first time. The combination of fasination and fear is hard to resist!
I started with the clarinet(back in Junior High), then went to the Bass. Ended up playing the 3/4 Upright Bass in high school. I kind of lost the drive to play an instrument when high school ended. And still haven't found it again.

I went through a 2 year stint of MtG, and gave away my cards at the end of it. I doubt many were valuable anyways, I never sleeved them. I've never been a fan of sleeves, unless they're on clothing! lol! I've always been more of a board game type person, some card games are pretty cool though. Can't wait to get this one!

@GM, I am so jealous! I've always wanted to get my hand on an upright! Somehow the $3000+ price tag has always been just out of my reach. I also started with a clarinet. Played alto sax, trumpet, barritone, and bass clarinet as well. All that theory certainly has paid off! I still play guitar and bass, mostly bass, mostly.
@LZ: I'm headed out to Disneyland in 2 weeks. Get to spend a day in the park, at a wedding.

I hope so. I'm also spending the day before the wedding visiting with friends I have down in that area. If they remember. Definitely reminding them before I leave about it, and since the wedding is on May 4th, there shouldn't be any problems getting together with them.

Cleaning, organizing, decluttering...with the help of the parental units on visit from Germany. I will so need a vacation after my sort of vacation right now! Hmm just alone cave time will be great, some Netflix binge watching, maybe some painting. Then I have to figure out what to do with all my books (now in storage), mostly SciFi & Fantasy books. Any suggestions?

It went well, the turn out was fairly good and we played some good games. I got sent an Exploding Kitten Play Test deck that I got Monday! This Spring weather is certainly amazing :)
And today I'm taking the money to the animal shelter, and going to see if they wanna try some exploding kittens. :) also dropping off the deck for the playtest raffle winner.
@Creeper...that's so awesome of you doing the raffle and getting donation for the animal shelter. Glad to hear the play testing went well and happy that you got the job! :)
