My only real concern is that this guy runs a successful KS, takes the money, and makes no attempt to fulfill, then Zem gets left holding the bag and potentially charged with accessory with intent to defraud. Keeping a percentage of the take is not going to help him if it becomes litigious. Maybe I'm overly suspicious, it's my nature.
Well if people want to buy crap at a high price, that's KIND of on them. I can't classify it as a scam if people are actually getting a product they paid for in the end.

Today I really need to do something about my backyard. The grass is spotty in spots, but where it is growing, it is a foot tall. Luckily no one can see my backyard except me. And the bamboo this season has finally sent out shoots everywhere, five to six foot tall in two days ... eight feet away from the core growth.
Bamboo grows so quickly in an environment it likes. Our grass hasn't gotten so bad yet... I still have to go out and de-mine the yard of dog poo too though -.-

Hey GCoD, did you notice the actual problem with the fourteen sided dice? I saw it right away. The sides aren't all the same size/shape. That means there is a statistical certainty numbers on the larger, four sided surfaces will come up more often than the numbers on the smaller three sided surfaces. Not good for any dice game.
Well if it were uniformly pulled off it would have been a unique idea. Any game can include any number die if you really want it to. 14 is just a strange number to choose....

Oh, one other thing, would someone (looking at you Zem) explain to this guy that the numerals on 6 sided dice have an actual pattern? The opposing sides always add up to seven. So the ace is never next to the 6, it's on the other side of the die, the 2 is never next to the 5, it's on the other side. Etc...

So I got this Sigma bike computer. Installation commences in the garage, crowded with God forsaken crap collected in four years, crap crapped on by mice as well.
So when installing the speed sensor in the fork, I manage to slingshot the rubber seal that protects the fork with the mounting o-ring. It might as well have disintegrated. It's still in a box somewhere where it fell. We didn't find it.
Last night a beloved man of mine had his car's back window smashed... With a tree. And all that cleanup means we have space for a car in the garage now :)
Whew, that's a lot to happen all at once! Glad it's at least working itself out slowly while going forward.

My "Billet Dice just arrived"! Eight chunks of gorgeously machined wonderment. This KS was amazing, his campaign ended April 7th, so I got fulfillment in 30 days!! Wish all KS campaigns could do that well.

They look pretty good, but a few of them (three?) have some very slight register issues from when the sixth side of the die was cut. The machine he uses can mill five sides in one set-up, but the sixth side has to be machined by placing it in the machine again after it was parted off from the barstock, so the alignment between the four existing faces and that new one to be machined can be a bit tricky.

He then had them anodized, then they were placed in the machine again and the color was skimmed off to create the aluminum face. They could be smoother, but I think a few minutes on some 600 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper and some water sanding will make them shine.

They have a wonderful clinking sound when you rattle them, and clunk mightily in a dice tray. On a wood table top, they are loud. One concern could be that on a stiff surface, they don't hit and roll, they hit and stick. On a felt padded surface, they roll some. On a thicker padded surface, they roll really well.

I have a leatherette bound road atlas on my desk, they roll well on that ... but on a solid hard surface, no, they won't give 'good' results.
You'll have to be careful not to scratch wood then too. Other than that they sound decent. You could always go the dice cup option to if people really pine about the rolling thing.

Yup. It's the closet. They messed up the tree though... It had to be smaller and definitely not stretched. Two nights of sleep redoing the image lost at the whim of a designer on drugs.
The mirror is a semitransparent glass. You can slightly see through it if the closet light is lit. It's black on the back, so it's a darkish mirror, very nice. I believe they called it "black pearl".

The mirror is a semitransparent glass. You can slightly see through it if the closet light is lit. It's black on the back, so it's a darkish mirror, very nice. I believe they called it "black pearl".

I know, DrP, I don't take it seriously, but I have a habit of defending myself. GCoD is awesome and I have absolutely nothing against him. He just knows how to push my buttons like my brothers. He says something out of spite and I respond, usually in a dulled down, *mostly* SFW version.
