@Trinkets: You must have missed my ranting a few days ago, and last night.
In relation to ranting last night, got through to the customer service finally, and was told that the live chat was available over the weekend, just not advertised. Yet I didn't see anything saying I could join that(even when I submitted my support ticket, which is where you normally see it). So no compensation for the lack of them having support on the weekend(yeah, calling BS on it being available).
@Thomas: Update pending an investigation into how much booze they drank the night of the completion of the campaign. We are currently waiting on the arrival of the receipts from the liquor store.

@GM, caught some of your customer service debacle last night. What was it about, support for a FF game?
Yeah, I was locked out of the game, and according to the rep on the phone, they had customer support open over the weekend(live chat only), but didn't advertise it. I would have seen it was available when I submitted my ticket about not being able to access the game. They won't give me any compensation, because "it was available", which is pure BS, my friend who looked into it too, because he was trying to help me, didn't see it either.
Also, apparently, for a Square Enix ID, if you put a capital anywhere in your email address, it can be used for another account. So you need to watch out, and make sure you ONLY type it the one way for activating an account. That's what my issue was, and that is something that needs to be fixed on their end. It should be by the letter used, not the case it was used in.
Oh, and I should mention it started Friday evening when I had gone out with my dad to pick up dinner, was logged in before leaving, but got disconnected while away. Kept telling me my password was wrong. Even after resetting it. So I finally got access(though I didn't even log in) yesterday. The whole time I was unable to get on, and the early access I had for the expansion that was released yesterday went to waste.

Nope, as far as I know, no tracking number. Maybe they'll think of something when they mail them, but so far as we know, they'll tell us when they're all shipped and just add a few days, maybe up to a week if you're unlucky. But to organize numbers and email them out for this many orders would be really tough.

Also, to stay on topic: last week, I rescued a tiny kitten who'd been hit by a car (jumped out of my car and ran across 3 lanes of traffic to catch the poor little terrified thing), and the vet says she was ludicrously lucky. She'll lose her tail, because the car swiped her back hips and ran over her tail, but nothing else was broken or crushed. In fact, part of it's already turned black and cracked off. He thinks that she's about 5 weeks old.
So, the husband and I now have a very affectionate little kitten who we've adopted :) she's been named Shahrazad, after the heroine in the "1001 Arabian Nights" (husband is a Middle Eastern music scholar), since the little one could likely tell a tale or two off her own. Lack of physical tail notwithstanding :)

Ooh, coughing up blood is the point when you've gone so far past the point of no return, the little guy waving a flag to get your attention has been run over and you're out of gas. In other words, you're never going to be fully healthy again, not even close. But in 8 years, you can heal alot. I know people who do it don't hate it, but most I know wish they'd never gotten into it in the first place and developed a dependence on it. Then again, drinking a pop every day is almost as bad for you, but is definitely harder to quit and even more enjoyable and socially acceptable. Not that I have that habit, though I commonly have 3-4 in a week if I'm not careful, it's just one of the worst habits in America.

I also don't know why I couldn't sleep from midnight to 4:00 last night. At first I thought it was because I took a nap, but the nap was only half an hour, and I just kept not sleeping forever.

Also, you know those large theater cups? The ones that are like 8 inches tall? I wanted to see how much the water weighed, so I weighed myself before and after chugging one. The biggest discovery wasn't that they hold 2 whole freaking pounds of water, it's that chugging what I just measured to be 5 cups of water (~1.2 L, 1.25 quarts) of water in just a couple minutes, even after mowing in sunny heat and sweating that much off, is a VERY BAD IDEA!!! You know the gallon challenge, drink a gallon of milk in an hour? That's nothing to over a quarter gallon in under 2 minutes!!! Big mistake!

Seen it, tried it, and doesn't really work for me, though I don't know why. Stress is almost never the main problem. I'll usually go to sleep in several minutes without too much trouble, recently around 20, really, but occasionally I'll just never go to sleep no matter what I do. Sometimes it's because my room is 80 degrees or more, but not last night. I have no clue why I couldn't sleep.

@Thomas: Update pending an investigation into how much booze they drank the night of the completion of the campaign. We are currently waiting on the arrival of the receipts from the liquor store.
@GM: The investigation was actually over the presence of copious amounts of "oregano" that was found in all over the office the next morning. And I don't think that was "powdered sugar" on Elan's desk.
@Geist: I thought it was concluded the "oregano" was actually nip.
GM: Could have been. Certainly not illegal to smoke it. Would explain why hundreds of cats were seen hanging around the building and following Elan home.

@GM, caught some of your customer service debacle last night. What was it about, support for a FF game?
Yeah, I was locked out of the game, and according to the rep on the phone, they had customer support open over the weekend(live chat only), but didn't advertise it. I would have seen it was available when I submitted my ticket about not being able to access the game. They won't give me any compensation, because "it was available", which is pure BS, my friend who looked into it too, because he was trying to help me, didn't see it either.
Also, apparently, for a Square Enix ID, if you put a capital anywhere in your email address, it can be used for another account. So you need to watch out, and make sure you ONLY type it the one way for activating an account. That's what my issue was, and that is something that needs to be fixed on their end. It should be by the letter used, not the case it was used in.
Oh, and I should mention it started Friday evening when I had gone out with my dad to pick up dinner, was logged in before leaving, but got disconnected while away. Kept telling me my password was wrong. Even after resetting it. So I finally got access(though I didn't even log in) yesterday. The whole time I was unable to get on, and the early access I had for the expansion that was released yesterday went to waste.
Oh man, that sucks! Fortunately I still only have a PS2. Only play FF7 on it.

Nope, as far as I know, no tracking number. Maybe they'll think of something when they mail them, but so far as we know, they'll tell us when they're all shipped and just add a few days, maybe up to a week if you're unlucky. But to organize numbers and email them out for this many orders would be really tough.
Also, we're looking at mid July when they are shipped. Around 3 more weeks.

Also, to stay on topic: last week, I rescued a tiny kitten who'd been hit by a car (jumped out of my car and ran across 3 lanes of traffic to catch the poor little terrified thing), and the vet says she was ludicrously lucky. She'll lose her tail, because the car swiped her back hips and ran over her tail, but nothing else was broken or crushed. In fact, part of it's already turned black and cracked off. He thinks that she's about 5 weeks old.
So, the husband and I now have a very affectionate little kitten who we've adopted :) she's been named Shahrazad, after the heroine in the "1001 Arabian Nights" (husband is a Middle Eastern music scholar), since the little one could likely tell a tale or two off her own. Lack of physical tail notwithstanding :)

As for the smoking reference, I've been smoke free for 8 years. And I'm not going into any anti smoking rant. I LOVED IT!!! But once you start coughing up blood in the morning, it's time to stop.

Smoking is bad. I wish it wasn't, but I know first hand the health issues that it can bring.
Ooh, coughing up blood is the point when you've gone so far past the point of no return, the little guy waving a flag to get your attention has been run over and you're out of gas. In other words, you're never going to be fully healthy again, not even close. But in 8 years, you can heal alot. I know people who do it don't hate it, but most I know wish they'd never gotten into it in the first place and developed a dependence on it. Then again, drinking a pop every day is almost as bad for you, but is definitely harder to quit and even more enjoyable and socially acceptable. Not that I have that habit, though I commonly have 3-4 in a week if I'm not careful, it's just one of the worst habits in America.

Also, you know those large theater cups? The ones that are like 8 inches tall? I wanted to see how much the water weighed, so I weighed myself before and after chugging one. The biggest discovery wasn't that they hold 2 whole freaking pounds of water, it's that chugging what I just measured to be 5 cups of water (~1.2 L, 1.25 quarts) of water in just a couple minutes, even after mowing in sunny heat and sweating that much off, is a VERY BAD IDEA!!! You know the gallon challenge, drink a gallon of milk in an hour? That's nothing to over a quarter gallon in under 2 minutes!!! Big mistake!

It really was close to a minute, I would say. It didn't work every night, but some nights it totally worked.
Seen it, tried it, and doesn't really work for me, though I don't know why. Stress is almost never the main problem. I'll usually go to sleep in several minutes without too much trouble, recently around 20, really, but occasionally I'll just never go to sleep no matter what I do. Sometimes it's because my room is 80 degrees or more, but not last night. I have no clue why I couldn't sleep.
Apparently I don't need sleep though because I'm not tired at all and it's nearly evening now.
