Ladies and gentlemen, kitten, vittens, hittens, and nittens!
We will be reaching Mars in about $20k. Note that the next few hours are your last chance to have a look back at Professor F's Pron Overlord Operations Center (also known as POO Center) and wave at him cheerfully.
After Mars we will leave the inner solar system. Next destination: Pono.
Please stand by for final acceleration phase.
Best wishes and godspeed from General Calculus who hands over the helm to the day shift. G'night! Calculus, over and out.

@Geist, E-Readers are a Godsend for me. I got the first volume of Game of Thrones in paperback but I never read it because it hurt my eyes to read for more than a few minutes. I had a Sony Reader but that was too dim to help. Then I got a Kindle Paper White and I downloaded the entire collection at once. I am currently just starting Volume 2. Sorry if this sounds like an ad for Kindle, but I used to be a voracious reader and this reader has enabled me to become one all over again.

Wait, Cheetah Butt "accidentally" double posts and then apologizes for it in another post. Sounds like he's trying to up his comment count. ;)
@Tchotchke: I knew that wiley cat was tricky
You know, if every backer's spouse had a separate account and pledged $1, it would kick over in 15 minutes and $5,750,000. :P
I think we've got Veronica before the end of today. It's gonna be close.
For some reason you think backer's have 'spouses'
@Tchotchke. Yeah, even though I have a spouse, no way in hell I'm going to try and explain this to her. She'd have me committed.
I'm married to the corps.
Wow. That's disturbing on a whole 'nother level.
I do everything I can to keep my wife away from ks, she spends enough on eBay as it is!
@Greg Hancock: Pity I don't have a spouse. I proposed to Lee Pace but he put a restraining order on me.

Yep, ever since he strapped that butt on...

I collect all sorts of crap. Last one was a power bank from Amazon. The phone is charging off it now as I'm too lazy to find the adapter.
I collect books. Horror novels, craft books.
Oh, books too ... currently at about 2500 in the library ... mainly railroad and technology history. Too much junk.
There's a plan for a bookcase for my entire SF collection. From one publisher. BIG.
Books are never junk @GCoD
