If it were me, as part of the EK team, I'd say that once "confirmed," for a goal, people will stop sending in entries. So even 5 acceptable songs, why not keep the achievement grayed out and see how many good/better/best round it out.

Oh, I have little doubt that he would be more likely to go to a rescuer than a cat (though there's still a chance he would be spooked by the building's loud fire alarms - which are VERY loud, and I know that courtesy of them starting to test them at 8 AM this morning for our annual test - and hide), I just doubt that either the official authorities (FD, police, etc.) or a neighbor with keys would even try to retrieve him in an emergency. I kind of miss living in a building with sprinklers for that reason. I always felt like he'd be fine, if wet and pissed off, when I had sprinklers...

@Marie, my building is small. Everyone knows who has pets, and most of us who do have the window stickers notifying authorities about it. That doesn't mean that my neighbors are going to stop on their way out and figure out who has keys to my door to get my dog out, or any other neighbors' unit harboring a dog, cat, or goldfish, even if the thought crosses their mind. I have no doubt that they will implore the FD to go in and get the pets, but that will likely be too late, except in minor emergencies...

On the flip side, though, my building has been standing since 1926 and there's never been a major fire here, as far as we can tell (one of my neighbors works for the records office, and posted the original plans for the building as well as every update since then, just a nice piece of curiosity for us to see). Knock on wood, and all that.
