I've worked with 3D printed items for 20 years. Every time a "new" plastic printed machine comes along, it doesn't pan out for any real practical use. Stereolith has limitations too, but it at least allows workable parts that don't break in five minutes of use. Oh, and those 3D parts were from Boeing -- and we often threw them out and made parts from scratch.
@Historian: It's not necessarily as easy as peering through the looking glass, part of the problem is the perspective. There will be an inquiry, if they were in the wrong they will pay for it quite dearly. The law doesn't protect police men from their own negligence.

I believe it about lost wax casting, especially since I've heard of confectioners using it for 3d chocolate models.
I counted about 80 people in that image ... foo ... and it was hard to see if all had ears. Doesn't anyone use a "good" camera anymore?

Hola Creeper. the ears at Katsucon failed ... 80 people, then organizers shooed the group out.
But we hit 156K backers, and $6.2M .. and now we're about $16K from wiping Pono out.
I read that! That totally sucks. :( I hate they were shooed away- could have grabbed people walking by!
