@Andre: It is all in who you have with you, there are 50 different scenarios to play through too. It also depends on how the house gets built as well.

I personally abhor the whole Railroad series of games ... Ticket to Ride, etc. They NEVER get it right in terms of an actual railroad theme. But that's because I am speaking as a railroad history nut.
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-02-15T11:12:28-05:00
Castles of Mad King Ludwig is really popular ... and Fief 1429 is up-and-coming.

I had a friend who developed a roleplaying game back in the late 70's called Salute 1620. I don't think it ever went in to production though. No Kickstarters back then. Shit. No internet back then. The term we refered to by was PnP. Punks and Pigstickers. Lots of dueling as I recall.

Wow, that KS for the dice could have benefitted by having some better photos. Depth of field on those shots is atrocious.

While the others are entertaining you / engaging your attention...
For our next stretch-goal, the lovely creators of this fine KickStarter devised for us some diabolically fun and admittedly pretty silly things to do. We need to accomplish 30 mini- tasks to unlock our next goal. We currently have finished 29 of the 30 required. The next fairly achievable one is to get 100K "likes" on FaceBook. It's significant, but doable with your assistance. If you have pledged and haven't as yet or have FaceBook and wish to help out the campaign, please take a moment and click this link, then "like" on the following page. We appreciate any and all support.

The huge box Ogre KS version was 29 pounds, more with the various KS aftermarket extras. Mucho overkill there, but it doesn't really add to the game over the $3 version.
Bob "Powers of Tesla" Lindley 2015-02-15T12:22:05-05:00
Somebody go check the map thingy please. West of Chicago. West of Rt.53. North of Rt. 90 there should be a marker that says Palatine, IL, Powers of Tesla. Let me know if it's there?

There is a PnP version of the very old, yet still playable "Melee" over on BGG.
Melee is a simplified man on man combat in a DnD style ... dates from 1977, long out of print and hard to find, hence the PnP version.
@Doc: Check out Rise of Chtulhu here on KS. It's a slick two player card game. It isn't that expensive either and the art is phenomenal.
You'd probaly like [Betrayal at House on the Hill] then.
If you like dice cups lol ...http://www.artisandice.com/custom-dice/exotic-wooden-dice/red-river-gum/
My son has been doing a lot of the DnD v5 stuff, but I never could get into it ...
If you like worker placement you should try Lords of Waterdeep.
While not my thing, Space Hulk seems popular, as does Zombicide ... ugh, zombies.
I can't stand Betrayal at the House on the Hill. May just be the first group I played it with but I hate it.
I'm not a big Zombie fan, I think they're stupid.... they don't make a very good bad guy or villain.
@Andre: It is all in who you have with you, there are 50 different scenarios to play through too. It also depends on how the house gets built as well.

Nuts how? Railroad history nut? I fully admit it.
That artisan dice site is cool, thanks for the link. I recently did this KS and expect to receive delivery in a few weeks. I expect these dice to be really cool (colored metal dice with Roman numerals!). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/139197951/polyhedral-dragon-scales-metal-designer-gaming-dic
Yah they have some really good product need to spend lots of money there
Good evening corps!
I've generated a little graph showing the total count of INDIVIDUAL backers. Note the jumps!

How the hell did I knock F down the chart.......
@Jeff Yes, they got criticized for that, but they seem like good guys and I am confident the product will come out well.
Well fuck... I need to post more
Well shit. I earned the EKLOL. Not surprising I guess. As much of my life as I waste in here.
lol we need a new 2,000 cookie at this point to.....
I'll make sure Cha! presents you with your cookie PoT. I don't have the text handy....
I haven't seen a peep from Prof F for days. But you know. Amsterdam, bitches.
This IS true.....
I'm only in the 200's.....sigh
@Doc, I had suggested that if you like wargames, Ogre is a good bet -- and, it is only $3 in the Pocket Ogre version. You can't beat that for value.
@Potatten go and complain to LZ and Creeper for spamming :-)
According to the achievements, the next one should be 10l, if you ask me.
@Doc, you are number 32: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23263053/EK/topcommenters.html
@Gcod I'll have to give it a look thanks

I think CB said he wanted to wait until this ended. You could email him and ask for an email address though if you want. cheetahbutt@kittencorps.com
man i need to get in gear to break top 20
Plus the company has said they are looking at doing "Pocket GEV" next year ... at around $10 to $15.
@Catz: Just no streaking ok? we've outlawed that.
S
T
R........haha gotcha!
lol
Something tells me we are due for a troll soon ... just a gut feeling. EU friendly trinkets in plastic fruitcake sleeves for all!
You speak it, and they come.... Quit summoning trolls GCoD.....
And has everyone watched the youtube vid of Smosh playing EK in playtest? Well worth the 13+ minutes to view it.
okay.....so english muffins topped with peanut butter and fluff and having a moustache do not make for good dancing partners..............
I like the way it plays.... I don't generally care for Smosh personally, but it is worth the watch.
Ian Hecox can be grating, but you have to admit, he has parlayed his abilities nicely into a career.
It's linked to on our very own www.KittenCorps.com!
For those EU friends that don't know Fluff.

Oh I'm not disagreeing with either of those facts! But you also seem to get, at least in part, why they just aren't quite for me.
It's just not the same to me Catz...... it's just not the same....
Just not the same?
As actual marshmallows.
Better. It is better. Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy is it better.
The only thing the tiny white balls have is that they can be charred over a fire for that true authentic smores.
Mine always end up as blackened lumps ...
Love the one your with...
but "Like" us, as well.

mmm.... it might only be psychosomatic, but I like those balls better than the gunk.
Sugary napalm dripping off the stick ...
Speaking of 3D printers from yesterday. (As another topic)
http://phys.org/news/2015-02-world-rotary-d-printer-cum-scanner-unveiled.html
It's rotary!
@Kevin: lmfao, now THAT is how you advertise the like comment stuff.
^you're dagnabbit.
It looks like a coffee maker?
That 3D printer is about the size of two Keurigs, not bad.
There are no grammar Nazies here, just a chicken cup.
Bagok?
*ahem*. What's this I read about me spamming?
Yup, it looks like a coffee maker lol.
You spam? I shall call you Spamela then.
Where's general calculus, eh??
Okay, off to nom and watch anime. Goooooooooooooooooooo Facebook likes!
okay. Who do you have to blow to get your pin to STAY on the freakin' map thingy? I've put my pin in twice, left, and come back to find it gone.
I had that problem last night, PoT, my pin kept migrating 120 miles to the southeast. I wonder if there is some "lock" feature I missed.
I've yet to do that. Thanks for the reminder...if it actually stays...
Harrrumph. Mine just seems to be gone. Twice now. Screw 'em. I tried to play along now now I'm taking my ball and goin' home.
Mine had just migrated 25 miles SE this time. Re-pinned, see if that holds for next time.
There are some way off in the Atlantic, too, though some of those appear to be on purpose, many of them do not.
Coming up on $6.25M!!
Creeper might have more experience making pins stay.
Leaving us 'just' $2.34M until Ouya.
Gen C - I know there's a joke there, i'm just not getting it.
94000 likes!
94K little likes down, 6k to go....to get an extra that we wants.

94,000 - 6,000 to go!
