@William, don't let it bother you. I'm not bothered in the least. Every industry has similar methods (eg: commercials during prime time slots are also benefiting from the popularity of the shows, no?). At least they're not HERE trying to direct attention to themselves. And I've seen several KS projects giving shout outs to other projects. They're both cool projects, period.

Idle- I had a serious moment of "oh shit, what did I say/do, who videotaped it and posted it on Facebook!?!??" (I.e. Screaming at traffic cop about delivering cupcakes to Dylan's). That is not me. But I give her major kudos- if not a slight eye roll to the "well, aren't we looking for attention?"

I don't want to derail comments this game over the other one though, so I'll just say I was one of the people Playroom told for 9 months that the reprint was coming soon but there were production issues, keep an eye out, only to go silent around September and then announce the current kickstarter. It just seemed like they were misleading all along, waiting to launch the kickstarter. But, that has nothing to do with this project and I don't want to discuss that any more. I was just curious on an official response regarding endorsement or not, to make up my own mind then how I felt of this latest tactic. I backed this project because I believed in it and generally liked it. I am only backing Unspeakable Words because of feeling they won't bring many to retail in order to push full price kickstarter pre-orders. But, those are just my opinions on itandI am only givingthem now to explain my position and end the convo on this. Back to hypnotic exploding taco kittens...lol.

@potatten yes so many dicks. Haha. And yes @creeper it happens often. I had a dream our class went to a museum and the trouble makers of the group were swinging from the chandeliers that were there. Woke up screaming angrily at one kid. Fiance was deeply confused.

Does anyone know how the animal shelter pizza parties are working? I thought I read somewhere that they were sending two pizzas to each shelter they picked, but that's hardly enough for the staff, much less for any backers to join in. So are they just giving pizza to animal shelters? I mean, that's nice and all, but it's nothing for me to get out the door for.

@Rachel - think it's to show the staff appreciation for their hard work. If you've looked at twitter, there are a LOT of shelters being added to the list. That's a lot of pizza!
@Creeper: Culling the herd of people that make life hell...and can't follow simple procedures(someone quits/gets fired send the information the same day it happens to payroll...not over a week later).

This project has been nits in its appeal. I know some jaded elitist gamers are against it, but it is a win-win for all. It brings more exposure to board and card games on kickstarter. We have a very diverse, large collection of games so that we can have a great variety for just about any group/occasion. This game really looks like it could be a great game for simple, silly fun. Unlike another card game, Poo, that goes on way too long and was funny for maybe the first 15 minutes of game one, and now collects dust.
