But imagining that talking guide for a movie makes me think of having to explain things to our exchange student. I envision having to pause the movie every 3 seconds to describe something for a long time every time something new comes up. Seems not worth that much extra time. It would be to them, though, depending on the person.

See if your local PBS Station offers DVS - descriptive Video Service. It's an auxiliary soundtrack that describes events in-between dialog bit. They don't describe everything, but enough to get a point of the story across.

@derp Dogs are actually way more like kids than cats. Dogs stay at a maturity level of around 3-8 human years old, I think, depending on the dog, but cats usually go to their teens.
