@Catz, I took a course in college on Milton, that's where I read it the first time. It's actually a quintessential work, most of what people think of as 'Hell' comes straight out of Paradise Lost.

It shouldn't take longer than any other email to get your registration code. I went through the process first to make sure there wouldn't be any problems.

Oh, boy oh boy. You have a lot of reading to do, but A LOT of good reading. If you're a fan of HBO's The Game of Thrones you'll be shocked to learn a bunch of Arya's storyline is completely different in the books.
I have lots of reading to catch up on too. I have the full Game of Thrones to catch up on, as well as the newest 2 Sword of Truth to read(once the newest one is paperback I will get it to read it), and probably 5 other books sitting on my shelves people have lent me.

@Catz, not shocked at all. I had the foresight to read the book BEFORE watching the video. I've gotten through the Season 1 Blu-Ray disks and now I have to get far enough ahead before I get Season 2. For the most part though, Season 1 did stay pretty close to the book.

Never watched the show at all. This is just what I know from people raving and describing episodes. What I have seen, is maybe 4-5 minutes involving Joffrey. While he is a petulant psychopath in the books, they may have made him even more sadistic in the HBO show.
That's a matter of opinion, but my that's my take on it. Make no mistake, he can definitely be called sadistic from the books perspective, but HBO takes it to a whole other level.

Okay, re-registered. The KC Forum says I have already used that name and email address ... so they are invalid -- clearly I am registered, there just hasn't been an activation email sent.
I kind of fumbled three different ones I use elsewhere into one...in such a weird order, that they are kind of like an encrypted file, where you need the key(or the sticky note I wrote it on) to figure it out.
