Suffice it to say that google resizes the image to the nearest 32x32 size factor.
I will have to dig into my Java sources at the office and see if we can forge a custom map and then post it up to be shared.
Will look into it tomorrow.

Sorry for the code, folks. @TEP, when you find what file this goes in, here's how you set the anchor point for the image. It needs to know the URL, the siz of the image, the origin point (upper left = 0,0) and anchor point relative to that origin (158 pixels to the right and 169 pixels down) The numbers will be the same for all images, but you'll need to create an icon from each image file and then attach that icon to each marker of that color as shown below.

And thankfully it's the first one too. And just started pretty much. They just shot the radar into the ground.
