Oooh, although I do have something else I'd like to plug, but I think I'll write up something and post it to the KC forum rather than here.
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-07T14:25:55-05:00
Now I just need to finish learning how to use game maker

All the defenses are down. Can anyone get here. I know prof.f can but he's not answering me. It has tendrils how. I knew it the humans should never get ahold of this power. It's said to make them stronger, smarter, and live longer. But that can't be true not this....
Epicderpguy 2015-03-07T14:29:28-05:00
I'll try to fight it on my own
Kevin "Lord Zombitten" Buckner 2015-03-07T14:31:32-05:00
Nope-riding zombittens are coming to your aid, Derp!
Man, I've gotten soft since the early days of this comment thread. Turns out I can't multitask and come back and have any idea what's going on, but I think that's mostly because of Derp. :)

Heya Catz.
Catzalcoatal 2015-03-07T16:16:32-05:00
Hi all, anything new going on? Had a lot of family stuff to do all week so was out of commission.
Catzalcoatal 2015-03-07T16:17:35-05:00
(Also, looking at the printing press link on the KC site still has me thinking. The kitten's shadow on the back of the card should have been an A-bomb motif coming up from it's shadow.)
Catz missed the Lix Debacle, he should check it out. It was so amazing we parodied it. GCoD was the villainous hero!
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-07T17:06:47-05:00
I had asked the Billet Dice guy about considering (for later) 1" square dice in his design. He said he could make larger ones, and another fellow asked about a 10" die -- it can be made, but would be $1200 and weigh 97 pounds before machining!!
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-07T17:08:00-05:00
Imagine showing up at your gaming club with a two-wheeler and your other game gear, and hefting out a two hundred pound pair of dice?
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-07T17:15:22-05:00
Heheheh, now not only is the Lix Dice campaign suspended -- but the Creators account has been deleted.
LOL, just looked at the Lix stuff. Good job blocking that scammer. I now further regret not backing AKO as I see there was a bonus glow in the dark dice set included. DOH!
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-07T17:52:03-05:00
@Catz, the AKO dice will be available on his webstore after the campaign has been fulfilled, but it will be later this year. So far, all his prior dice are still available. Heck, I'm getting 24 glow-in-the-dark dice, I can likely send you a few.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-07T19:12:15-05:00
Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour for daylight savings time tonight
Jeff "Great Cane of Doom"™ Saxton 2015-03-07T19:13:45-05:00
That is tonight, isn't it? Well, more daylight as the sun continues its relentless path across the sky.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-07T19:53:26-05:00
I don't mind when it happens in the fall because I get a little more sleep. The only good I see in this is that it marks that spring is finally here and I can put snow behind me for at least 6 months
We're mid forties low fifties.... but that isn't going to be anough to get rid of all the ice here.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-07T21:14:07-05:00
You must have mountains of it. The only snow that I see still sticking around are the Hugh piles that got pushed to the side after this week's storm. And the great part, no more black ice
It's not too much really. But it kept switching back and forth between rain and snow, so instead of snow mounds it's all mostly ice.
Catzalcoatal 2015-03-07T21:25:48-05:00
1) Damn you for reminding me about losing an hour of sleep tonight.
2) 3 days of 40+ temps coming this week, should get rid of most of the snow. Hope no flooding
3) No worries on the dice, I saw the dice will be available later. Just kicking myself now for balking.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-07T21:29:31-05:00
*blows a kiss at Catz*'you were going to find out anyway. Plus the longer daylight would remind you
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-07T23:32:19-05:00
All y'all Crying about daylight savings... How many of you are working tonight and getting home at 2 am only to find its 3? And how many of you are going to work another 12 hr shift tomorrow? HUH?! Quityeryammering

Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-08T00:06:35-05:00
@Creeper: when I was a CNA a few years ago, I would work 16 hour shifts several days in a row with only two hours of sleep in between. Try that on for size.
The constantly on call ready to move out for a mission at any given time is rough indeed. It definitely gave me sleeping problems, I can't do that shit anymore.... makes me feel old like many other things.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-03-08T00:28:23-05:00
I can't work those kinds of hours anymore. I feel sorry for the CNAs that are still doing this 10 years from now. They have to deal with the overweight clients that can't do for themselves. When I was done with that profession after a year, my back was in a constant state of pain. I'm surprised I didn't have a nervous break down.
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-08T00:34:02-05:00
No one can maintain those hours for long. When I was baking for Dylan's, plus my job, I would get about 1-2 hrs a sleep a night. 4 on some good days. Indie that for a year, without a single day off. Not an exaggeration. We put ourselves through hell. Not how life should be.
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-08T00:34:46-05:00
And we burn out quickly. It sucks. Mama needs a sugar daddy.
Melissa "The Creeper" Nicole 2015-03-08T00:36:19-05:00
Potatten- I can't imagine being on edge like that, in the military. Never a good nights sleep doing that, for sure. Don't know how you guys do it.
@Potatten: Actually Fire would make booze more dangerous. Water would weaken it.

My God, it's full of stars.
Space?
Man, I've gotten soft since the early days of this comment thread. Turns out I can't multitask and come back and have any idea what's going on, but I think that's mostly because of Derp. :)
You can eat the stars as surely as you can eat space, fear them not Derps!
My slottens can outdo a rock. Coming! Eventually.
There's always at least one it seems. The balance of all things. Cheers to odd ones! The F's the Derps the Zems
Wasted my year's supply of coffee to arrive in time.
Derp? Where are you?
Whoa, people didn't have to stop talking just so I could keep up. :/
He's dead. What has this fool done?
That or the stupid comment thread is playing tricks on me again.
@Idle,
Perhaps he'll be reincarnated as an EpicSpaceDerpWhale
Space is doomed then.
Ummmm, zombie derp whale, anyone? I mean, I'm here, and it seems like an awful waste not to....
Hell no. He'll be eternal!
And don't forget about his monster rock. You might zombify it too. Brr...
There, posted something to the KC forum for anyone interested in watching an animated short film I made.
You mean we aren't at 70k comments yet? What is this?!
We're working at it though...slowly but surely.
Tonight we dine in 70k hell!
And again a totally different batch of shtoopid potatoes are making me suffer. Fk. Can't eat at midnight every day.
We had to deal with the Friday night slump
Quite the marketing genius I am to plug my thing when everyone's gone.
Will check it out after work, mr. Diamondbacks
He can be like the lunar whale from FF! It's true! The mysidian legend is coming to pass!
Yup. Just giving up on autocorrect

This kind of slump?
I gave up on it a long time ago when I realized it was demon infested Creeper.
I'm a snake now?
It's a nice snake.
Well, this is delightful. Late for work and just waked past a woman peeing on the subway platform. Awesome day!!
Better than on the subway car?
I appreciate the optimism.
You could always say you were to disgusted to walk past the peeing lady. Some excuses are valid.
Crystal/Diamond Dan "Silver Lining" Drake at your service.
One eyed snakes?

DDD I want to save the world too.
Wooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! Wasabi peas burnin my face!
@Catz - I don't think you're supposed to rub them on your face...
@idle - It's tough, because everybody else wants to rule the world.

Can't open that :(
Just the Tears For Fears video.

(Also, looking at the printing press link on the KC site still has me thinking. The kitten's shadow on the back of the card should have been an A-bomb motif coming up from it's shadow.)
(Or maybe little mushroom clouds in their eyes!)
Which image are you talking about?
Watching frog orgies in the Okavango. Yawn. Night.
Yes. That sounds tiring.
Mostly boring.
The main logo image of the little kitten just sitting above the words "Exploding Kittens"
A mushroom cloud coming up out of the kittens shadow or in it's little beady eyes would have been sweet and foreboding.
It hasn't been armed yet.
I don't have the digital art skills to do it, but blend the background from this: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/17786/ogre with the kitten from EK for a classic look.
Yeah, that was my basic idea. That or the clouds in the eyes, to show that even kittens are always thinking of destruction in their mind's eye.
Catz missed the Lix Debacle, he should check it out. It was so amazing we parodied it. GCoD was the villainous hero!

Nice! I didn't know about the deleted part!
The only bad part of it is, that KS took four or more days to close the campaign -- and Indiegogo took under eight hours to do the same.
So sad. Now that 3000 b.c. design will probably be lost forever. :(
I still think he meant his futuristic dice was from 3000 a.d.
You win some, you lose some 3,000 year old designs.
lol we definitely made that pun GCoD

It happens at 2AM.... so we will go from 1:59 straight to 3:00
I hate the night of the clock stupidity
It's going to throw me off for like a week....
I don't mind when it happens in the fall because I get a little more sleep. The only good I see in this is that it marks that spring is finally here and I can put snow behind me for at least 6 months
So what did everyone do today?
Caught up on my shows and then watched a few movies. The snow is melting outside and should be mostly gone by the end of tomorrow
Wish our snow would be gone tomorrow...
We are suppose to be getting temps in the 60 degree range next week. I think I need to retire my winter clothes now
We're mid forties low fifties.... but that isn't going to be anough to get rid of all the ice here.

It's that thing that comes with the sun.
