Hey, I'm back. Went to have coffee with my older brother and it's so nice out they put tables outside. In early March. It's recently been in the 60s for about a week straight now. Most people would love this weather, but I think it came too early, just like a couple years ago. It is nice, though.
Meh. I've got a whole week of snow and more snow ahead. Spring came and left. Now it's cccccold.
I ordered a survival shovel/icepickicepick/"sawsaw" thingie an hour ago. Never hurts to be prepared.

I saw that. The folding shovel? Those are great for camping. I would just get an ice scraper though, and a good shovel if you're doing a driveway. Those tend to be small. I usually use one of those shovels like the size of a small car's hood or something, but it probably helps I'm 6'3" and really strong and young.
By the way, any ideas for good driveway material? The cement they put is mostly sand and it's totally ruined. A lot of ice there, we have a roof pipe draining and ewww. Just more cement or something that will endure the cold?

Maybe asphalt, but I think that can be expensive. If they just used the wrong mix and had too much sand, yeah, I'd say you could just have it redone. Also, I'd have the pipe fixed or change the angle or something so it drains into a garden or the grass or something.
I thought about fixing the pipe, but it's down to ground level. There are other idiotic pipes with nearly 90 degree angle on the facade and an ice flow made one fall apart. Maybe I'll find cement channels or something to redirect the water.
It shouldn't be our issue, but it is. Nobody's giving a damn. It's our garage, doesn't matter that everybody else must pass through on the way to the yard garages.

Nah, I'm going to figure out what the heck I'm supposed to be doing after the peer reviewing tonight. I'll lose 5 or 10 percent or something for not having peer reviewed copies in the final turn-in day, but it's better in the long run this way. Still no idea what the heck I'm supposed to do. I'll kinda feel guilty for taking the pizza the teacher is bringing to class tonight.

@BruceP, I normally hang about during the daylight hours and from about 19h00 until I have to go sleep or the adrenalin wears off. GMT+2 is where you can find me.
Also I meant that it's 01h22 AM on the 10th over here, of the 3rd Month, so I live in the future a little.
lol that would depend on how much I use my phone.... it's full of auto-correct demons, I would get TOO wasted...... I do agree that it would be awesome!

Sometimes I feel like derp is just another 13 or 15 year old on the internet, but I think it's a better theory that he's actually in his 70s or 80s and is just playing with us. And doing a very good job. This is where he comes to be a regular odd internet person.
