Yeah, they're pretty cool. I ordered the synthetic Opalite ones. They're pretty. The only place where they fall down a bit is the printed numbers aren't always placed as precisely as they should be on some of the dice.

FF6 is using a similar concept, but 2 grooves per face to create a "text" representation. I think readability is important to be useful vs. novelty.
