@CB -- you should have the ability to make a fairy door pretty easily. I use basswood strip stock to make a door, then add a frame out of thicker bass or pine. From there, add a doorknob, hinges, and a "Z" brace ... then paint in fanciful or whimsical colors that complement your home décor.

OK. I'm counting playing fetch, but not Rick Roll and Hypnotoad. I am counting those with missing locations though. That might account for it. I haven't made much of an attempt at verification. Figure that's someone else's job.
I have to remember to modify the CRON job so that it shuts off after Tuesday night.
@Creeper: Not really, there are enough large flat spots for my desk to fit. It's just the positioning *I* want isn't what the VP of HR approved. So, I can't get my desk the way I would like it...and the way I would like it is more inviting than having my back to everyone who walks into my office(I want to be sitting with my back to the window...which doesn't even have living plants outside of it).
And I concur the Fairy Doors would be awesome to have as a kickstarter. Thought I can't afford to back them personally, I can see lots of people wanting one.

@CB: I'm still employed. I don't know how long that guy will be. He criticized me for bringing him my work 45 minutes after the deadline but never mentioned that he is over 6 months behind with wire payments that were bounced back that should have been resolved.

*sigh* trying to explain to my landlord that that thermostat for the building needs to be set at what the temp should be outside, not inside. He said "I have it set at 48. It should kick on when it's 48 degrees outside." . . . no, that's why it's not coming on and why I was freezing last night and huddled under two electric blankets!
.... tell him you want it set for the temperature you want to FEEL indoors. That it will kick on when the temp inside drops below what it is set at, and will turn back off once the inside has gotten back to where it was set. If he doesn't get what you mean, he's trying to cheap you out on heating.

This is a good example what redundant development on two completely different infrastructures and approaches is good for: Catching any bugs that would have slipped through otherwise.
I do not have to stop my cronjob as it does snapshots and stores the quarter hourly data, but I think I will do that anyway, maybe a quater hour late... still have to figure out how to make this happen... most simple thing to do would be copying the DB snapshot at 0:07 or so to a secure place and working the rest from there.
@GCoD: Those look awesome. Definitely something that has potential to go farther than you already do them. But at the same time I see why you do it only for close friends.

@Potatten - i honestly think he just doesnt' understand. When I tell him i'm cold - (and he's there), he'll go down and turn up the heat. Someone called and told him it was cold, and he drove in to turn it up for us. When we had some neighbors on the top floor with a newborn, he was obessive about making sure it's warm. He always seems super concerned. So i continually try to explain it to him. It just always happens in the middle of the night when it's too late to call him. He was so happy about the oil prices being so cheap this year..it hsould be an issue. But dammit, LISTEN TO ME!

OK, @General C, I just found another entry for New York City and deduped it. Now there should be 83 YouTube ID's in the list you get from me and 83 entries on the KittenConsul page. The extra two on my page aren't YouTube videos at all. One is a HTML page from someone who thinks he's too good to do a video but that he should be considered any way and from someone who posted his video to Facebook instead of YouTube. We don't really need to worry about those two because there's no way they will get any YouTube likes. I'm just leaving them there in case the EK team decides to have pity on them. Looks like you and I are finally squared away.

For sure yes, I think he just hoped on it going Viral and that they would pick him anyway, but so far not that much luck for that.
Believe me, I've seen voting competitions for small things reach the sizes of average cities(I'm talking a community of 10-12k people getting upwards of 400k votes)
Jeeze. The one i was in was exhausting. Once I realized I could actually win, it was nonstop promoting. And then the last night of competition, someone paid for likes on their photo. I was so upset when I first saw the numbers, then my friend noticed that they were increasing by 20 every 5 minutes. We looked at the names, all Turkish. And most of them were linked to a "social network booster". A few people reported them and fortunately they were disqualified.
@GCoD....must remember for if/when I ever own a house.... :) I love that!
I would had hoped for some reaction from Bella, but there was none of yet.

It's a little sad but the good thing is he knows how sad he is himself, it would be a very awkward video if he didn't. I think you have to watch the whole thing though, but yea it is a bit long...

Believe me, I've seen voting competitions for small things reach the sizes of average cities(I'm talking a community of 10-12k people getting upwards of 400k votes)
Jeeze. The one i was in was exhausting. Once I realized I could actually win, it was nonstop promoting. And then the last night of competition, someone paid for likes on their photo. I was so upset when I first saw the numbers, then my friend noticed that they were increasing by 20 every 5 minutes. We looked at the names, all Turkish. And most of them were linked to a "social network booster". A few people reported them and fortunately they were disqualified.
Hubie's gone! I'll miss him until the next dice scam. Unless he grows a brain .
I kinda hoped he'd squiggle through the whole campaign with only 3 backers that go poof :)
