96 people showed up to play by my current count. Everyone I spoke to had a great time with one exception.
She played with me at the bar that first night I played, and she came after me for cards, so I set her up with an exploder, it was pretty early in the game, and she went out. Well she and her boyfriend showed up at my event and played the required two rounds. In her first game she drew two exploders on her first two turns and was out, In her second game she drew two exploders on her first two turns and was out. She no longer wants to play Exploding Kittens.

I finally found an email address, but she hasn't responded. I hope she doesn't think I'm some sort of creepy stalker. Oh well, I can always play the game with friends. The deck will probably be worn out by the time my regular decks arrive in July.
I have labored mightily today and produced a video of the interviews I conducted with some of the people who came to play with us yesterday. It's going to take nearly five hours to upload to YouTube.

And scored big time on ABE Books. Two ultra-rare books on Japanese logging railways, in Kanji, bought from a dealer in Australia who had no idea what they were worth ... SCORE!!
Yeah, but I actually have some ground to work with. 2-3 ft of dirt bordering around the back. I'm super lucky to have it Inthe city... But woof! Prepping it and planting at the start of the season! Dead. I'm dead!

2-3 ft. of dirt... That's one of the biggest reasons I could never live in a city. My house has 2 gardens we put in for vegetables, each maybe 50 sq. ft. plus 5 or so flower gardens. My mom tends almost all of them every year. Most of the time she just leaves them alone, but planting and stuff in the beginning of the year is torture. I've helped pretty much every year, so I know.

Even living in a dorm isn't bad, especially in a city like Lincoln. So open and clean and organized here, especially on campus.
I have a very big back yard area, especially considering 90% of Manhattan does not have any outdoor space. I wouldn't want it all to be dirt/grass. Imagine where Id store a lawnmower here?!?
You can see it on the forum- even though it's all covered in snow. Cleaning out kittykitty's castle now. Gotta deodorize the hell out of it. Durn tomcats.

Just looked it up 80.7 percent of the US population lives in urban areas, so less than 1 out of 5 people actually want to live in the country. I think most of us like the idea of it better than the reality. I can't even get my wife to go camping! Her idea of camping is a five star hotel... sigh.

Yeah, i'm going to lend one to the bartender that showed up - he didn't realize i was hosting. He apparently hosts a bunch of game nights, etc.
