It is a nice idea, but I'd end up gluing them together. The thing is, he already bought his laser, and the tooling for the plastic parts is done, so he's already 80% done. I was thinking it would be great for custom CRT dice by color and results. Blue = 4:1 odds, red = 3:1, green 2:1, etc ...
I mean it is a cool concept and he has laid it out very well. But it's just not my thing. I also don't know if I would trust them to remain unglued, and they would obviously wear over time (duh). But he is legitimate, and also EU-Friendly :P

By and large I'm not too disappointed if this company will also be devastated. The fact that I'm the kind of person who does not give up. My goal is to build a successful company. I have never had bad intent. In additionbut this is unwise. Only an imbecile would try to cheat on this site to get a few hundred dollars. If you really want to help, then we can cooperate together. I am even willing to do all the products. And ship the products to your address. Free. There is no risk. You can help so. I'm willing to give 20% of the fees. If you refuse, then I will not be offended. Sooner or later I will be able to build a successful company alone or not. This is my dream. We hope for your understanding. I replied to him directly. My response is below.
Wow. This is very disappointing, especially after I stood up for you to other people that I know from other campaigns.
You need to understand that it is not possible for you to deceive the people that are now paying attention to you. I do not know what the rules are for joining Kickstarter, I do not know what the rules are for becoming a creator on Kickstarter. I do know there are members in other European countries who are able to back projects. I would presume that there is some way to become a creator legitimately. I do know that you have violated Kickstarter terms of service in this campaign, and I will be forwarding this email to the Kickstarter staff. Do yourself a favor, whatever your real name is. Fold this campaign, close it down, delete your fraudulent accounts and find a way to do this legitimately because I can pretty much guarantee you that the people watching your dice campaigns are NEVER going to stop looking for your projects. They will hunt for you and harass you and they will report you to Kickstarter every chance they get.
Can you understand how shady you look to others? Multiple different names that aren't your own, multiple different locations you aren't at. Do you care? Why should anyone trust you? I don't.
Oh, one other thing. You should know that I work on occasion for a private investigator here in the U.S., I'm pretty good searching for information about people. If your campaign is still live tomorrow morning I'm going to drop some information I discovered about Mark Anthony Bush that YOU should have found before you chose that name.
Go away and come back legit. Or don't come back. Your choice.

I received this email today from a Kickstarter project creator named Mark Anthony. He seems to be trying to get me to help him to scam Kickstarter and other backers. I have no interest in anything of that nature and I have told him so in no uncertain terms. He also seems to admit to trying to run other projects under other names, I don't know this man or want anything to do with him. I believe he has violated Kickstarter terms of service item No. 2 by registering under a false name as a citizen of the U.S. (according to him).

Good on you, PoT. I realize we can't keep all of KS scammer free, but we can all do our part to be vigilant, and keep our corners of it free from baddies. Sadly, there are too many users who just see "oooh, shiney!" and blindly pledge, with no thoughts of alarm bells, since they assume Kickstarter itself has done the work of weeding out the bad apples -- and they haven't, nor have they shown an inclination to, as long as they get their cut from successfully funded campaigns. Whether the projects delivers or not, KS makes their money up front.

Mark Anthony has closed his dice campaign. I gave him some advice one on one about telling the truth if he decides to try again, I hope he takes it. I doubt that he will, but I hope.

Well, that is a story that needs some telling.
Littlest one is in the hospital. Viral infection of some kind. Spiked a 42 celsius fever on monday night at 11.
So runnning around and working from home, or at least trying to. This has not been a fun week so far.
I shall now relate the story of what I've been doing on Kickstarter the last day or so. For those of you that may not have been "in the loop", the Russian fellow who has been labeled a scammer (due to his shady behavior) came back and set up yet another dice KS. This time I decided to get involved. This the link to his campaign. (Now shut down by him)

I saw that. To be honest, I kinda figured he would. In his other campaigns, when too many of us poke holes about his scam, he just cancels it and sets up another one. The Ovi Dice one is still going although that isn't going to get funded either.
I guess he didn't want to show his true face to us. Pity. I was having so much fun.
PoT, now maybe you can elaborate on what he told you? He admitted to so much!

I received the email below yesterday in the afternoon, after all of the discourse in the project comments had taken place. This a verbatim copy and paste.

I had a lot of ideas that could be interesting to people. So I decided to show them to the world. But I've decided to start with something simple. Namely, dice. If you knew how many of my companies destroyed. Unfounded accusations in the form of comments. Not less than 6 for sure. Takes a lot of time creating each company. From this I get very tired. Especially in those moments when my work is destroyed. Constantly. But I'm not giving up.
I use the services of a mediator. He takes the Commission if the company is successful. He takes 20% of the fees. The project is completely on me. The facilitator lives in the United States. I live in Russia, but it does not mean that I am a cheater. I'm just trying to build a business on the site kickstarter. I would like to develop in this direction.
I registered as a citizen of the United States. Because I don't have a Bank account in USA. I have nothing to lose. I can be completely honest. I say it like it is. By and large I'm not too disappointed if this company will also be devastated. The fact that I'm the kind of person who does not give up. My goal is to build a successful company. I have never had bad intent. In additionbut this is unwise. Only an imbecile would try to cheat on this site to get a few hundred dollars. If you really want to help, then we can cooperate together. I am even willing to do all the products. And ship the products to your address. Free. There is no risk. You can help so. I'm willing to give 20% of the fees. If you refuse, then I will not be offended. Sooner or later I will be able to build a successful company alone or not. This is my dream. We hope for your understanding. If you are not my enemy, we can continue to communicate.
My thoughts. That "mediator" could just abscond with the funds. Backers are then out, Creator is then out. KS and everyone else can't do a damn thing about it. Only winner is this "Mediator".
I suggested to Danila that he should shut that campaign down as well. Let's see if he responds.

I replied to him directly. My response is below.
Wow. This is very disappointing, especially after I stood up for you to other people that I know from other campaigns.
You need to understand that it is not possible for you to deceive the people that are now paying attention to you. I do not know what the rules are for joining Kickstarter, I do not know what the rules are for becoming a creator on Kickstarter. I do know there are members in other European countries who are able to back projects. I would presume that there is some way to become a creator legitimately. I do know that you have violated Kickstarter terms of service in this campaign, and I will be forwarding this email to the Kickstarter staff. Do yourself a favor, whatever your real name is. Fold this campaign, close it down, delete your fraudulent accounts and find a way to do this legitimately because I can pretty much guarantee you that the people watching your dice campaigns are NEVER going to stop looking for your projects. They will hunt for you and harass you and they will report you to Kickstarter every chance they get.
Can you understand how shady you look to others? Multiple different names that aren't your own, multiple different locations you aren't at. Do you care? Why should anyone trust you? I don't.
Oh, one other thing. You should know that I work on occasion for a private investigator here in the U.S., I'm pretty good searching for information about people. If your campaign is still live tomorrow morning I'm going to drop some information I discovered about Mark Anthony Bush that YOU should have found before you chose that name.
Go away and come back legit. Or don't come back. Your choice.
I then forwarded his email to Kickstarter with this message.
I received this email today from a Kickstarter project creator named Mark Anthony. He seems to be trying to get me to help him to scam Kickstarter and other backers. I have no interest in anything of that nature and I have told him so in no uncertain terms. He also seems to admit to trying to run other projects under other names, I don't know this man or want anything to do with him. I believe he has violated Kickstarter terms of service item No. 2 by registering under a false name as a citizen of the U.S. (according to him).
I got the sense that he was asking me to act as his "mediator".
Good on you, PoT. I realize we can't keep all of KS scammer free, but we can all do our part to be vigilant, and keep our corners of it free from baddies. Sadly, there are too many users who just see "oooh, shiney!" and blindly pledge, with no thoughts of alarm bells, since they assume Kickstarter itself has done the work of weeding out the bad apples -- and they haven't, nor have they shown an inclination to, as long as they get their cut from successfully funded campaigns. Whether the projects delivers or not, KS makes their money up front.
