I have a habit of running background checks on people I do business with, as well as anyone I feel is not being completely honest and above board with me. It's part of my character, just who I am. And with computers it's actually pretty easy to do. So I ran a check on Mark Anthony Bush (his registered Kickstarter identity). What I found surprised me. B, thanks for that wonderful heads up. The creator has a lot of projects that either didn't make funding or were cancelled. If he actually pulled together a decent project on this he could have made it work. But just to launch one and try to ride on the popularity wave is silly.
Geist, one does not need an army to win a war. Two minions should not be judged against a thousand, for each have their own worth and place in the Kitten Corps Universe.

I was thinking along those lines when the Exploding Puppies campaign started. If that had blown up like EK, that guy would have been in WAY over his head. Elan had some experience and two other people to help and still he said how complicated and difficult it was to pull this altogether.

Monster kittens powered by radiant moonshine. Constantly talking to all who stay a while and listen. Rarest of breeds, these Monittens have opposable thubs and as such can handle almost any human tool/piece of equipment (Light/Darksabers included). Ability to stand upright and walk on hindlegs at will.
Upright, 7 feet tall.
Shoulder height when on all fours - 4 feet.
Having denounced any biological urges in favour of spreading knowledge, both Monittens are sterile and are the last of their breed.
Weaknesses: Monkeys. Tuna.
Strengths: Able to distract other kittens with lasers and red balls of wool. Able to read books and lecture for hours on end to any students of knowledge.
Note that my Monittens can distract your minions with lasers and red balls of wool. Attempting to send clever minions who will not be distracted will result in them being lectured to for hours on end.
Alas, their weaknesses are Monkeys and Tuna.
You need some balance, right? Luckily I can handle the Monkeys on my own, and there is only so much Tuna in the world.

Mensittens
Hyper-intelligent kittens that have been admitted to and now control Mensa. They use their vast intellect to circumvent any form of hitten they encounter while spreading unimagineable chaos through extraordinarily crafty means.
I forgot to add they created the illuminati as a means of very effective distraction. They're far more powerful.

Yes Zem, I do. But by definition, being extreme intelligent does not mean that you HAVE to be in Mensa. Hence I can still claim that my minions are of an equal, if not higher calibre in the intellect department. Such things can happen.

Knowledge Informs and Educates, and althought it can be equated to power, the built-in assumption is that you will not be taking the same path to corruption and at the end, absolute corruption.

Ken, to be a Mensa member is an Honor. Even if you think you are not the sharpest tool in the shed it shows that you have a certain intellectual skill and power when applied to certain aspects of life. One of our work colleagues is also a Mensa member, but if you move his car keys by half a meter on his desk he will never find them.

Also, what Jeff said, Knowledge is power, thus they're equal. Well you have an unknown level of knowledge, but I have both knowledge AND power, thus I'm twice as good. Plus, I'm organized, an entire corporation, and if you've looked into sociology of groups, collective intelligence is always so extremely more than individual. Having thousands if not millions of brains all cooperating is like having a computer from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy working for you. But not the one that tried to destroy the universe and came so close. The other ones. No, nor the one that can "talk all four legs off an Arcturian MegaDonkey". Just how smart they are. It was a metaphor!

Well, TEP, not all geniuses are like that guy. Come to think of it, I wanted to apply for Mensa when I was like 13 or 14 but never did, though I do happen to know I would've made it. I still could, maybe I'll get around to it when I'm bored in my 30s or something. Someday.
