I once had a perfectly good car (I was still making payments on it) totaled by golf ball sized hail. I used the check to pay off the car and drove it looking like a giant golf ball. Screw how it looks, does it get you where you're going?
This one was about 9-10 years ago. We haven't had any hail storms that bad in a while. There was flooding here back in 2013. Definitely brought the city together for the clean up. Even our mayor, who was on vacation, came back and pitched in(one of the reasons he got re-elected...and he's just an all around good guy). Heck, the biggest tourist attraction that is done every year almost got cancelled, until volunteers did shift work to clean up the grounds(there was work being done 24 hours a day to get ready for it opening a week after the floods).

Spent a good part of the day trying to resurrect a Nexus 10. What a POS.
I anyone needs instructions how to make a POS with totally drained battery to actually start charging instead of strobing the screen and giving you the finger:
Plug it in.
Go into fastboot.
Select shutdown.
Unplug and plug again. Have a coffee and/or cake, Portal session optional.
Works for Nexus 7 too.
Lots of sleeping in, lots of rain, a bit of shopping and bike tweaking. A bit of his nephews as guests. That's about it. And sleeping in doesn't mean i got enough sleep.

@GM: The glowing sneaker campaign sent me a refund with a short note saying that the "elements" weren't right so they couldn't go forward with the manufacture of the shoes. Never posted anything about it on the comment board or anything.

@Geist: This campaign that I'm supposed to get a refund for, ended in December 201...and never heard from the guy for almost 2 years. Over half of the people never got their rewards, and were considering legal action(which is probably why he returned messages, and came back). I was supposed to get my refund(didn't want replacement rewards) back late last year, but he still hasn't sent anything to me. He even commented on it, directly to me.
I hate just missing the delivery guy... but then again sometimes they just fill out the slip in advance and drop it in my box that way because they don't feel like actually delivering that day....
@Potatten: I've had it where I'm at home, in the kitchen making food, and the delivery guy doesn't knock, ring the doorbell, or make ANY noise, but leaves the note saying that no one was home. I complained when I picked up my package at that point. I even made sure I was home when it was supposed to be delivered, ended up not working a day I could have(was working for hourly pay at that point).

I have a UPS PO box. The box number can be used as an apartment address so that when my package is delivered, they sign for it and send me an email notification to come and pick it up. Plus I don't like leaving my packages where people can easily steal them.
I just have it delivered to my parents place(which is where I live...cheaper than moving out right now) since my dad is retired. I can even send it to a friends house if need be, and then pick it up/have them drop if off if they are coming near my place.

You might have to trick them both and hope like heck they get use to being indoors for at least a couple of months. It's hard but if Scrunchie warms to you, kittykitty will get use to it.
Scrunchie must have belonged to someone not long ago since he warmed up to you so quickly.
You could probably use a raccoon trap and get them if you need to move them or for some reason think they need to see a vet Creeper. Also, that is the EXACT BS I'm talking about GM. They do that shit ALL the time. They've actually tried to do that with me waiting at the front door since I was anticipating something and was outside playing with the dog. They literally tried to slip one past me.

Makes not sense. They don't mind delivering packages to my PO box where an employee can sign for it but they won't deliver one to my house and let me sign for it.
The only explanation that I can come up with is that they are over burdened with boxes and have only a short amount of time to deliver them all. If any packages come back to the warehouse, they get in trouble.

yeah, if i had to move....oof, i don't know what i'd do. At least i know the other neighbors feed and take care of the cats, so hopefully they'd adapt. They're smart kitties. I went home for a week for christmas, and asked my upstairs neighbor to put food out on her fire escape (they can get to it)...not sure if she did or not, but they were fine when i got back.
Potatten - I always have a fear about them needing medical help! last winter, I saw blood in the snow, and it was coming from kittykitty. He cut his stomach on the fence. I think the ice and the snow helped clean it, thankfully. If it was summer time? :( I was sitting out in the snow crying trying to get him to come to me. *imamess*
Well if you really need to trapping them and taking them to the vet is the best option if you can afford it. They won't like it in the short term for sure, but they get over it quickly and sometimes even bond better afterwards. They aren't stupid after all, they'll know it was because you took care of them.
