@Jeremy: If you have a question about the game, just ask. Someone is usually on here to answer it for you. Otherwise, there is no rule that says we have to ONLY talk about the game. (That would get kind of boring after awhile)
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T14:32:48-04:00
I always envisioned it like Garfield eating lasagna. *shrug* As long as it taste like buttered toast. Or better yet a grilled cheese sammie. That would hit the spot around about now.
Jeff 2015-06-08T14:34:24-04:00
Water pressure is a bit low. ...so a plumber is going to dig up some pipes, to see if there is a hole/leak in the pipe to the pump from the well, which is shared by 6 homes. ...Interestingly, one of the two people that are filling up their (new) pools, failed to mention that they were (had been) doing that.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T14:35:45-04:00
Lasagna is fine.. but it has to be gluten and dairy free.. yeah im one of those guys... Its how I roll
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T14:41:31-04:00
@Idle: I meant a tuna sammie and a cola to wash it down. Trust me, it's delish.
Jeff 2015-06-08T14:41:37-04:00
Dang, that is a bummer. It is not really Lasagna without the cheese. I did have vegetarian Lasagna once. The meat was replaced with beans, so it was like a Mexican Lasagna.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T14:42:04-04:00
@Jared: Regular lasagna or you are a sinner
Jared Brown 2015-06-08T14:42:15-04:00

The Ex-President thanks you for your service.

Pretty much. Watching grass grow is fun after Jeff's gold.

Work can be fun. Unless you work at a funeral parlour.
Jeff 2015-06-08T14:46:25-04:00
The property lots here are 1 acre. There are two lots behind us, one has a pond. It only drops about 12 inches at the lowest/driest part of the year. We have a run off/ creek to keep the yards from flooding during the spring and fall rains.
Jared Brown 2015-06-08T14:47:12-04:00
@The Ex that could still be fun though right?
Jeff 2015-06-08T14:49:27-04:00
It is funny when some people think that because I am 50ish, that I do not know the internets/computers. They fail to realize, that I was around before they became common place, and was there when they began. ...so I have literally seen (most) all of it.
/hipsterness
I knew a guy, who loved working at a funeral parlor. Although, 6 feet under was his favorite show. ...so that that how you will.

No pre-made tuna fish next door so I had to settle for snow peas and cucumber salad with some baked flounder.
Jeff 2015-06-08T14:57:07-04:00
I just had tuna salad on crackers, for my afternoon snack.

That is what I wanted for lunch. YOU STOLE MY LUNCH!
It is what I always have. One day Chicken Salad, then next day Tuna salad. More of a snack than lunch. I don't eat 3x a day, I eat 5-6x a day, but smaller meals, snacks.
I have to do something. Like, read a book. But the only books available at the moment are the Game of Thrones ones, and I'm trying to watch it. After reading the first book, the first season was a torture.

@Idle: Not true. I mentioned how tasty tuna sammies are. Jeff decided to make it a reality and eat some with crackers. I wanted that. Now I have snow peas and fish in my belly.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T15:15:46-04:00
@Jeff: I use to read Xanth. I had no idea the author was still alive and writing these novels. I have to start at the beginning all over again because I've forgotten most of the characters and plots.
I've never read Discworld. Sorry to hear the author passed away not long ago.
Jeff 2015-06-08T15:15:58-04:00
I hated reading, never read books, except for what I was required to in school. A friend had a Xanth book: A Spell for Chameleon. I have read the first 23 of them.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T15:16:23-04:00
@Ex Prez: The only one of those desk play toys that I want is the little astronaut light.
I could not chose between Xanth and Discworld, as my favorite book series, they are both equally awesome. Oddly enough, I collected books, 442 hard back books. I quit buying them in 2000, as I did not have any more room. I gave them to the Fort Bliss Library when I left El Paso, and became a Rolling Stone.
Geist de la Muerte Gatito 2015-06-08T15:23:07-04:00
I was hoping that when I retired, I'd have enough book to fill the whole house so that on my first day of retirement, I'd simply close the door and spend the rest of my days reading.
Since I don't have enough to retire on in the next 20 years, that will never happen. I'll have plenty of books though.
It's a political space thing with elements of hilarity. The main hero is a crippled dwarf because his mother was poisoned. He's a damn genius too. Most of the time he's his father's heir and all, and at the same time an undercover mercenary fleet admiral.
The story is quite all over the place. The books never came out in historical order.
Hahahah a new statue of a king was revealed today. Its eyes were supposed to glow red but nobody dares to turn them on because people are shocked. The most popular TV jester just called the statue a "fallout vampire".

@Jeremy: Since times long past, we have made this a place of fun, and knowledge. Everything and anything is on the list of to be talked about
@Jeremy ... this chat scares me.. amusing... but scary *hides under blankets*
@Jeremy: Where have you been? This is how this comment section has always been. Come join the party or ask that which ye seek to know-ith.
@Jared: No need to be scared, Geist doesn't bite....hard. >.>
@Jared: What is scary about it? Other than Pr.F streaking (which he hasn't done in a long while) we are pretty tame here.
I don't bite at all unless requested. Or you are a piece of buttered toast.
What is there to be scared about: https://www.youtube.com/watch…
@geist glad im not toast
@Jared: How do you know you wouldn't like it?
*backs out slowly*
Although, announcing that one is backing out slowly, sort of defeats the purpose...
@Jeff I was about to say
@Geist... interesting thought... I envision it like being eaten by a zombie or ghoul.. that doesnt look like fun to me
Jeff is the only one that scares me here... He digs out the biggest sh1t from the depths of hell.
Excuse me, Internet.

Or some tuna fish sammies. With a cola. Mmmmm.
That's one bottomless well.
Hey, be nice to me. It is always good to have connections in low places.
With a water drought going on, why would they be having pools?
We are in the Wetlands/Swamps, so there is plenty of water. Even in the middle of summer, you hit the water table at about 3ft/1yrd/1m.
Geist - now salmon is bad. Tuna with cola. Ewww.
Lasagna is fine.. but it has to be gluten and dairy free.. yeah im one of those guys... Its how I roll

Hi Kittens! Having fun?
At the end we had old cheese pie with the salad. If you can call it pie. I doubt it exists in cola tuna Sammie land.
@The Ex as much fun as a person can have at work...

I lost those rascals some time ago. They're so... Slow.
Never heard of Xanth. I'll check it out.

I'm still collecting. Well, my mom mostly now.
Ever read the Vorkosigan books?
I think I'm going to need a space shuttle USB hub.
@Idle: Never heard of them. What are the books about?
I can't believe that there's a pink banana hub but not a shuttle one. The people.

Nope missed that one too. Thanks.

Imagine red eyes. The worst thing is, his soldiers were blinded. And the new statue is just in front of the soldier statue.
What was he King of? There were lots of kings, of different kingdoms, which changed with the tides/winds: https://www.youtube.com/watch…
Oohhh...: post number...: https://www.youtube.com/watch…
Um, our king.
@Jeff: I love those books! Haven't read them in a long time. I'm on the look out for them.
What a stern look on his face.
To be honest, he look like somebody took his staff and asked him to bend over.

I won't give you back
Holy cow, can you people never do this when I'm here?! I usually get on within 2 minutes of party self-destruct.
It happens.
To you.
Lemme find a bookie...
Anyway, if interested in Vorkosigan, start with Falling Free. The mom and dad story.
I lied. It's a prequel of sorts.
I'm gunho for any book as long as the story keeps me entertained. I refuse to read romance novels, I don't care how good they are.
Along with idle spam. You put in 4 incomplete comments in 15 minutes and that's pretty common. Even I didnt do that, I left it for derp.
I'm off to get a bucket and some hair butter. See you kittens tomorrow. Only a month 1/2 until kittens are exploding everywhere!
