It's amazing how much walking up to 10 miles in freezing cold and wet or burning hot, dry, sunny fields, alot of the time with major ruts which make walking painful, can just destroy you. Once this is all over, I look forward to being able to walk, stand up, and even sit without extreme pain and fatigue. Thank God it's a short season.

I've got the usual: a mix of invisible illnesses with minor brain damage from being hit by a truck a few years mixed in for fun. So fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism (we can't get under control), chronic fatigue, short-term memory loss, and other misc.
On good days I'm walking around carrying a cement ranch house. Average days the cement house is a typical 2 story 3 bedroom home. Bad days it's a cement sky scraper or Barron Robber style mansion.
At this point I don't think of it as a big deal. I could have died when the 18-wheel truck hit me. So it's an annoyance and I miss having an income. But getting to read lots of good books & not work for crappy bosses are not bad trade-offs. And being alive beats being dead so I hear. ;)

Between my husband and I plus the books we've picked up together I estimate we owns 5-6k in physical books and another 5-6k in ebooks. I swear my next house is going to have walls where I can put bookcases up everywhere. I refinished one room in our current house to be a library but I think it only holds about 2-3k of our books.
I really need to scan all our books into a database. Right now we have books still in boxes, bookcases in every room but bathrooms & kitchen, books cover every flat surface and floors in every room of house... Well no books are on floor of bathrooms. LOL
