Typically anything that runs only 26 episodes avoids filler though. It's the ones going a decade strong that pull that crap.

Best anime ever though IMO is only 12 episodes long and almost nobody has ever heard of it, it's a horror/mystery and it's just amazingly well done you could easily watch it all in one sitting, it's called "Another" -which is probably why people don't watch/can't find it since I tell people "You should watch Another!" and they are like "Another…what?" lol

I hope to put in rubber floors if I ever get to build my dream kitchen. Great for your back and feet. Ok if water spills and is missed in cleanup. Things are less likely to break. But hard to find, expensive, even harder is finding someone who knows how to install it, and I've not checked in years to see if they've answered the question "works with radiant heat".
I design a new dream home every few years. My needs change. Where I expect to live changes. Green tech changes. I want a home which works for me, materials used in building that don't trigger my allergies, is green, and can be partly off grid as I'm tired off power failures leaving me without heat and lights.

A couple of things about the solar panel issue.
My contractor and I went through the local building codes and neighborhood codicils with a fine tooth comb. No mention of solar panels or skylights. We were informed via email after our proposal went in that they would not be acceptable, based on this persons aesthetic sense.
I have LOTS of photos of other houses. (one on my new street) with skylights, and a few with solar panels.
I am building the house with the wiring in place for the solar panels. and I'm going to run for the village board once I'm in the village. Once I'm on the board (if I can get elected) there is gonna be such a fight.

@Catz - Yeah the Arcade episode was the hardest one for me to watch, I was BALLING the entire time, I felt SO BAD for that poor woman, she really was a product of her environment and situation not a truly "bad person" but the way she was disappointed in her children even when using them as an ULT move in the game made me kinda sad and feel like she was going to lose since the guy on the other hand felt remorse DURING the game about neglecting his "mom", the woman didn't show any towards her children until AFTER it, which is BULLSHIT that doesn't count I agree.
But yea, I was crying for like that whole episode, thank goodness the one afterwards had some serious storyline or I dunno if I could have kept up with the feels lol

@Meow-tair, that's why we have to be choosey with our poutine when we do it eat. We don't want to waste a poutine, so to speak, on a mediocre one. It always sucks when I have one that totally sucks and I know I won't have another one for a while because they're so bad for you.
I desperately want solar panels. But the place where I'm building will not allow solar panels or sky lights on the street side of the house. Since my house will face south the panels would need to go there. There is going to be a battle royal once I get my certificate of occupancy. These people have no idea.

@Catz. Illinois. WE don't have those laws yet. What I do have is a village supervisor with an opinion about what is asthetically pkeasing, no statute on the books and other houses in the village with both solar panels and skylights on the street side.

Just be wary of the writing man, contract law is a finicky field. @PoT All laws trump it though in case of there being a discrepency. All Case, State, and Federal Law should be given priority.
@PoT, start taking pictures of all the homes in your village with outward facing panels or windows, then make sure they are dated and properly listed by address. Get enough, and your lawyers can rip that 'city father' a new one.

Well, my trinket idea was a universal Exploding Kitten token that can be used in almost all board games.
Someone (can't remember, sorry!) said that pages can like pages. So, if you have a fan page, a community page, a business page, whatever, that page can also like Exploding Kittens.
Catz, I saw that one. I think that's pretty clever. I don't play that many board games, but it would be especially useful if it had an opening and could double as a pendant.

I keep thinking I'd like to retire in the middle of nowhere so people have less opinions on what you can do on your chunk of land. But then I think how nice it is to have hospitals and stores nearby. It's just a no win.

That's depressing. This is the only time I've been active in the comments section of a project.
A couple of things about the solar panel issue.
My contractor and I went through the local building codes and neighborhood codicils with a fine tooth comb. No mention of solar panels or skylights. We were informed via email after our proposal went in that they would not be acceptable, based on this persons aesthetic sense.
I have LOTS of photos of other houses. (one on my new street) with skylights, and a few with solar panels.
I am building the house with the wiring in place for the solar panels. and I'm going to run for the village board once I'm in the village. Once I'm on the board (if I can get elected) there is gonna be such a fight.
I thought maybe a pair of special EK dice would be cool too. Hard to beat the Marlboro dice sent to me made out of real brass though. Those dice sent to me are heavy as F and shiny too!

Kind of hard for the village to do anything to you if other houses already have stuff facing the street. Sounds like you're better off just doing it and letting them sue you, because they will definitely lose once the evidence is presented.
Hell, you might even be able to win just based on a discrimination defense, again citing all the other houses with stuff on their roof.

@Catz - Yeah the Arcade episode was the hardest one for me to watch, I was BALLING the entire time, I felt SO BAD for that poor woman, she really was a product of her environment and situation not a truly "bad person" but the way she was disappointed in her children even when using them as an ULT move in the game made me kinda sad and feel like she was going to lose since the guy on the other hand felt remorse DURING the game about neglecting his "mom", the woman didn't show any towards her children until AFTER it, which is BULLSHIT that doesn't count I agree.
But yea, I was crying for like that whole episode, thank goodness the one afterwards had some serious storyline or I dunno if I could have kept up with the feels lol
