At first glance, I don't like the bezel on the Pebble Time. It's too large. Plus, Pebble Time has a LOT more competition than the original Pebble did. It could pass the Coolest Coler if its funding momentum keeps up, but I'd rather bet on one of the big boys than a KickStarter campaign in this rapidly evolving product category.
True enough Creeper.... this IS the internet so it really does bring out both the best and worst. That people don't understand that we aren't BUYING anything, let alone SGs, is immensely frustrating too.

Right, Numbers are in. For the final backer tier i assumed a max of $10,000. All other tiers are calculated based on their entry point and max end point where it rolls over into the next tier ($0.99c)

So total # of backers allowed = 37,400. This is most likely due to limiting production factors before going global.

I wear a wind-up watch, but a smart watch would be nice if I could see text messages on it from a good distance. There's one corner of the lab where I get good reception, so I leave my phone there, streaming Pandora and routing it through my bluetooth headset

LZ, the range is the same as bluetooth. I get really good performance on mine. I'm in range through my entire home. I use an app to figure out where I left my phone all the time.

If you guys are aiming for a google clustermap of backer locations, my advice would be to head for a .kml/.klm file for google earth. locations will stay fixed unless you edit the file. Or you would need to pin the points yourself on a google map and then share them.

Is there a way to set and lock a Google map so that dots can be placed, but also so that that can't JUST be moved?
