Otherwise, I spent all day replacing the kitchen faucet and sprayer assembly Darn thing was one of those all-in-one designs where the nozzle and sprayer are combined with a hose. The feed hose wore out and started spraying water all under the sink in the cabinet. Had to shut it off overnight ... then tear out the old one this morning. Run to hardware store and buy a new faucet assembly, then install. Ah, the joys of home maintenance.

I also wonder if the Pebble guys conferred with the KS guys before hand to reduce or limit the 5% fee. I mean, it's probably the first project that absolutely *KNEW* would break $1M.
No reason an established company would spend 5% on it even with the extra advertising that will happen.

The comments I had read all seemed to indicate it was previous backers buying the new Pebble watch . But really, who freaking wears watches anymore?
@Geist: They backed 5-6 projects that were Pebble related(docks, straps, covers, etc). Only one of which failed to be funded. A lot of the names that were used to create those same projects were just variations of the same name(Jim something-or-other, Jim and Whoever).

I had a Casio calculator watch back in the 1990's, I could put notes in, set timers, etc. The Pebble is hardly new or ground-breaking.
@GCoD: I used to wear a watch all the time. Then the damned thing died(thought it was the battery, got new one, and still didn't work) and haven't worn one since. Thought I do have a very nice collectable one from Bioware.

@Tchotchke- I do the restaurant because it's flexible, and hours are what i need in order to focus on my own business. I love my bakery business. It's just these first few years, getting established, etc. Tough cookies.
