@Zem, lol, when I was single Valentines day was awesome! The clubs would always do some sort of special night and things could and often did get pretty crazy! The saying if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with often applied... ;)
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T09:56:58-05:00
Thanks @BaKhan. It was a good trip. I got to connect with a lot of my family.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T09:58:49-05:00
I don't have a special Sweetheart to celebrate with today, so the World is my valentine. Happy Valentine's day to all of you.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T10:00:23-05:00
@CB, that's great! Nothing beats spending time with family. The older I get, the more I realize the truth of that. Happy Valentine's day!
Morning kittens. Only one more day of getting up for work, then I have a day to pack, and a day of travel(3 hour layover in Vancouver, 5 hours in LA, then directly to the island!). Can't wait to get onto this winter vacation.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T11:17:42-05:00
@GM, congrats! Sadly we can't afford to go anywhere this year. With all the time that Misty had to take off because of her surgery, etc., we are deep in the weeds financially. So no vacations this year. I hope you guys have a great time! Sorry about the layover in Van, I hate that airport so much, if there is anyway to avoid it, I take it! ;)
@BaKhan: I normally wouldn't be able to go, but my parents said they would cover the flights, I just had to pay for my room...or share with them then it would have been 100% free except food/drink(only breakfast is included). So it's still costing my a bit, but nowhere near what it could have.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T11:39:03-05:00
@GM, I hope you enjoy your travels and that everything goes as smoothly as possible at the airports. I chose to drive last week to avoid the hassle, but you can't really "drive" to an island. ;-)
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T11:47:31-05:00
Uugghhh! Bringing an entirely new test system in-house SSSUUUUUCCCKKKSSSSSS! I don't know how much I'll be in here this week. I have to read a bunch of information, and then draft a policy for this new system. I'm hoping the big update will brighten my day.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T11:51:20-05:00
Update up guys! Now, don't get crabby, but you know, get crabs... ;)
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T11:53:54-05:00
Already bought it!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T11:56:10-05:00
I can't wait to get my mitts, er claws on it! ;)
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T12:00:54-05:00
I think my kids are going to love it. They always want to play either EK or BvB.
...unless they want to play Poo, Nuts, or Kitties in a Blender....
Pretty much, I’d completely forgotten about it, nice to see I haven’t missed much
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T12:28:05-05:00
Oh yeah, crap, totally forgot! That game looks pretty fun! Unfortunately I'm not going to have a chance probably to get it, at least not for awhile.
As for the rest of the conversation here, I'll have to check back in like half an hour.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T12:30:05-05:00
Looks like we won't be needing a Crab Sub Corp. They went straight to retail.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T12:33:42-05:00
@CB, truly a shame as I really enjoy their campaigns... but I guess there's no need to get crabby about it, just get crabs! ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T12:35:31-05:00
@HA, yeah, I try to be a voice of reason once in a while... so many people that just don't get what ks is all about though. And a couple of straight up jerks, acting like they know everything about everything just whipping people up... I've wanted to say so much more over there, I just know it will fall on deaf ears. Oh well, not much I can do about that... ;)
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T12:41:58-05:00
@BaKhan, trying to be a voice of reason on KS? Might as well try directing traffic on the freeway! LOL
I’d really like to know who started the “I envoke my rights....” nonsense over there.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T12:49:41-05:00
@CB, I did that for a summer once, in my youth... lots to be said for education... ;) I know on a rational level that I can't change peoples minds, but the ocd part of my personality has a very hard time letting go. lol, I wish I could just care less sometimes. ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T12:51:44-05:00
@HA, I've actually seen that on several campaigns now. I don't know where or why it started but its so silly. Its like they have decided that the campaign has failed because it is late and ergo, they deserve a refund. Sorry folks, not the case, its still a go, so that $16 or whatever it was, is still required and you won't be receiving a refund because you are impatient... ;)
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T12:51:48-05:00
Well, you can usually direct traffic pretty well if you run out into it. Not sure what that analogy is supposed to mean, but it sounded nice.
`
Hi, HA! Good to see you again!
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T12:53:35-05:00
How in the heck has youvegotcrabs.com never been registered? I mean, it's good for them to have it for the game, but it seems like one of those really weird site names that is inevitably taken.
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T13:02:07-05:00
I see you all are dealing with people who think KS is a store. It's frustrating that people don't read the description of how KS works.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T13:25:05-05:00
Probably no surprise to anyone, but entitlement trolls have shown up on both EK and BvB updates whining about not getting a special promo code just because they bought something from Elan before.
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T13:26:39-05:00
Well, to be fair, there was plenty to complain about. Neither game was ambidextrous. OR plaid!
Though one was furry.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T13:31:12-05:00
@Zem, I completely forgot about that. You're right, of course. Also no mention of whether the game is EU Friendly or if sleeves would be available.
What was I thinking?
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T13:40:12-05:00
I had never heard of Kemps before. Some people just don't want to let other people have any fun, I guess
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T13:43:16-05:00
CB, luckily, *most* shipping to the EU worked out in the end. It may not have been quite EU-friendly, so much as EU-tolerated.
Still no word on ambidextrous, plaid, EU-friendly, locally sourced, artisinally grown sleeves, though.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T14:48:20-05:00
Hey! You guys are forgetting about the scratch 'n' sniff! What about crab trinkets!!! Come on guys!
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-14T15:18:32-05:00
Scratch 'n' sniff crabs? ... I'll pass.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T15:26:09-05:00
@Zem, you don't know what you're missing out on! Scratch 'n' sniff crabs is the new thing bro! Its a delicate combination of asian fish market mixed with and an oysters smelly old gym socks...
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T15:36:35-05:00
Keep the crab trinkets away from your nipples. ... just sayin' ...
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T16:03:21-05:00
@CB, well that certainly wouldn't be EU friendly... ;)
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-14T16:29:25-05:00
Oh, good hell! Somebody call the Waahmbulance for the people commenting on the FB post about You've Got Crabs! Why is it so hard for people to keep negativity to themselves these days?
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-14T16:37:58-05:00
@LZ, I think that the main reason is because they can. Really, there is no benefit to it what so ever, and yet, there it is. I've been noticing that trend everywhere, at first I'll admit that I found it kind of amusing, but now I'm so over it. Its not even about keeping negativity to themselves, if you have a legit grievance, you should be able to express it. Its that they don't have a legitimate grievance, they're just bitching, because they can, and probably because they mistakenly think people care about what they have to say. Oh, "x" already exists in a different form and even though you made your version special, and created new art work / what have you, its a total rip off. Ummm, Uno anyone? The examples are limitless, yet the vision/mentality of the complainers is obviously very limited... sigh.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-14T17:34:33-05:00
They set themselves up as such easy targets though, I can’t help but have a laugh at their expense. (Oh no, you’re Charging Money for a GAME!) ... LOL!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-15T09:05:31-05:00
Morning kittens!
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-15T10:10:23-05:00
Good morning! In a couple hours, I'm going off to Prague for a long weekend, so if I don't check back in here all weekend, you know I'm having a good time. ;)
Also, I'm just not sure if I'll even bring my laptop in the first place; there wouldn't really be any need for it, but it might be handy.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-15T10:23:10-05:00
Morning kittens. I got a shipment notice for my crabs. Looks like it's going to take a week for FedEx to walk the package here from Los Angeles.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-15T10:27:10-05:00
@CB, dang, I still don't have my shipment notice. I hope that they aren't shipping all the US orders first, but I wouldn't be all that surprised tbh. Fingers crossed they don't wait too long, I could use the game next weekend for a buddies b-day party.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-15T10:28:00-05:00
@Zem, I hope you have a great time in Prague. Isn't that where the movie Hostel takes place? ;)
Well kittens, I may check in tomorrow, I may not. If not, then talk to you all sometime after I get back(sometime after the 24th). You all take care of yourselves.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-15T17:58:21-05:00
@GM, I hope you have a great time! Best of luck with your travels, and I look forward to you tales of adventure! ;) Cheers!
Got my crabs shipment notice. It’s due in on Wednesday. One week from the order date to delivery, not too bad from LA to the great white north
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T09:04:03-05:00
Morning kittens!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T09:05:04-05:00
@HA, I got me some sweet sweet notification of the same! Next Wednesday Canada's getting crabs! Whoot Whoot! I can't wait to bust out those crab claws!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-16T09:55:15-05:00
Morning kittens. Looks like next Wednesday is THE DAY for all of us to get crabs!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T10:25:31-05:00
@CB, good morning Sir! Super excited for next Wednesday! Especially, next weekend! I'll be taking this over to a buddy's game night / b-day celebration. When he told me who he was inviting, I told him it was going to be a sausage party! After much ribbing and joking, I suggested that everyone should bring a different type of sausage, to make it official! I'm bringing my chili cheese loaf which has a mixture of beef and sausage as the filling. I'm pretty pumped to be bring crabs now too!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-16T10:29:14-05:00
@BK, wishI could come. I would definitely bring the kielbasa!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T10:42:21-05:00
@CB, thats what I was going to bring! But I thought that the CCB would go over slightly better... ;) Its always a big hit at my Halloween party!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T10:42:49-05:00
@CB, also, wish you could come up too! Bit of a drive though... ;)
Mike Kabala 2018-02-16T10:43:46-05:00
So do we need to add crabs to the list of items in the Master List? We already have kittens and diapers.
Mike Kabala 2018-02-16T10:46:05-05:00
@BK, I was halfway there a week ago. Hope you have a great sausage party.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T10:46:20-05:00
@CB, what about crab cream? ;) You know, cause everyone will already have crabs.... ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-16T10:49:16-05:00
@CB, I'm sure it will be a blast. Probably quite nostalgic for me as I spent a big part of my teen years playing games with my friends till the wee hours. ;) I'm looking forward to it! Lots of good games are scheduled! Probably some Munchkin, The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary, and if theres time maybe some x-wing. I'm also bringing some mini games, so if people get knocked out of games early they can play something while they wait for the next one. Yeah, its going to be fun for sure!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-16T10:55:29-05:00
@BK, LOL, but we really should keep Blackest Friday kid-friendly if we can.
"Mom, what's crab cream for?"
"Um, go ask your father."
...
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-18T14:26:02-05:00
CB, it was just a bit cooler than Council Bluffs. Then again, Council Bluffs is like an hour's drive away from me, so it's not nearly so exotic.
`
I've been to Prague before, but it was still well worth going there! Super cool. Also a bit expensive; I'm hoping now to only take one more trip on my own dime, if I can scrounge together the minimum costs.
`
So, no crabs for me, sadly (wait...), but a cool trip. That ends with me coming back and having a full weekend and then some's worth of homework in 4 hours... no wait, 3 1/2 now.
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-18T14:35:52-05:00
Snazzy new suit, CB! (your new profile icon)
`
Also, BaKhan, get ready for plenty of jokes of everyone getting mad at you for giving them crabs. And then for someone who wasn't there to hear about it and get really, really confused.
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-18T15:46:10-05:00
Also, I know it's the old profile pic from EK, but it's new now, and it's good to see again!
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-18T18:13:58-05:00
Oh yeah, that other trip I want to take would probably be in May, whenever our program has a long weekend or break just before my birthday. I really want to go way south in Germany and see either Neuschwanstein, Berchtesgaden again, or both if possible. The best thing is that it should possibly coincide nicely with my brother's (who lives in Bern, Switzerland's) wedding, so ideally I could go there, then on the way back see that or those!
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-19T13:08:32-05:00
Morning, Kittens! My crabs came on Saturday. It's fun. My eight-year-old really liked it. My six-year-old didn't seem to quite understand what you're supposed to be doing. James and I won 16 to 0. James is the 8 year old. I just realized that I haven't used any names at all. The Mrs is Jess, then there's James and Kyle
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-19T16:32:25-05:00
My only thing with it is that it seemed a bit too simplistic. Literally just collecting four and attempting a signal. Is there a way to make the game more complex or competitive and exciting? Because as it is, it seems like it'd be a great quick, easy, fun game to play once or twice at a party, but then move on to other stuff. Or maybe that's what it's best at; you could start there, then go on to EK or BvB!
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-19T20:52:48-05:00
Well, you do have to be strategic in how you pick your signal(s). The reason James and I won by so much was that Jess and Kyle picked a simple signal and were super obvious about it, so I was able to steal all their points
Lord Zombitten 2018-02-19T20:53:38-05:00
But, for the most part, it is a game for kids to play
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T09:12:11-05:00
Morning kittens!
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T09:13:35-05:00
So I survived the long weekend with my in-laws! Can we have the Olympics on everytime they come? It made it so much easier! Not to mention its pretty awesome watching your tiny country win so many events! Whoo whoo! ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T09:14:59-05:00
@CB, you're totally right of course... it should be the dad explaining the crab cream! ;) And yeah, you've got a good point there too. Something to keep in mind, is what will our target audience be, and what way can we tailor the game to fit?
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T09:16:45-05:00
@LZ, thats awesome that you have your game already! Mine is supposed to be delivered today! I can't wait to take this to my friends sausage party this Saturday! I know its aimed low, or for kids, but with the amount of inebriated folks there, we will be like children, mentally... ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T09:18:30-05:00
@Zem, glad you're having a good time! Its pretty exciting reading up on your overseas adventures! Hope you're keeping your grades up! ;)
Mike Kabala 2018-02-20T10:05:54-05:00
Morning kittens. My crabs are in Charlotte, but they are now in the hands of the USPS, so I probably won't get them until some time tomorrow.
I spent all day yesterday knitting and watching Olympic Curling on Apple TV. (Sorry @BK, but I had to cheer for USA over Canada in the Men's R-R. Canada still has one more win than the US though.)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T10:31:57-05:00
@CB, I totally get that! No worries, when there is no conflict of interest I cheer for the States though. ;) I'm really excited for the women's hockey gold medal game tomorrow night! The first one you guys got robbed for sure, Canada didn't deserve to win at all, you guys had over twice the shots on net! Some of the worst defense I've seen our women put up yet! It is an exciting game for Canada as our girls are going for 5 golds in a row!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-20T10:49:40-05:00
@BK yeah, hockey is way more interesting than half-pipe skiing and the other ridiculous things they show in prime time coverage. I am SO grateful that we have the option to choose what we want to watch via online streaming!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-20T10:50:39-05:00
Wow, looks like I will get crabs tonight! My packageis Out For Delivery! ... WOOT!!!
Mike Kabala 2018-02-20T10:53:43-05:00
Oh btw, I found out last Saturday that Charlotte actually has a four-sheet curling facility. I took advantage of the Open House they were having to throw a couple of rocks! I'm considering becoming a member, but the yearly fee is a bit steep. Still, a bargain for what I'd be getting. I just need to decide how often I would use the facility over the next year.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T11:01:03-05:00
@CB, yeah I get that. I think that sports like the halfpipe, etc, are really more for the new generations as its more in line with their interests. I find them interesting, but not nearly as gripping as hockey, or any of the other team related sports. The thing about all the skiing/snowboarding events is so much relies on the weather, and less on the technical skills, they are all pretty even, just depends on the wind as far as I can tell anyways. As awesome as it is to be able to stream what you want, I've yet to find the need. I looked it up on the weekend and we have over 14 different channels showing the Olympics! Its worked out pretty well. Also found a new feature on my pvr, I can pause one channel whilst watching another, and flip back and forth that way, not missing anything! I'm sure real sports nuts/tv addicts knew this a long time ago, but I thought it was a pretty cool little feature. Sure saved the day for both hockey and figure skating, the former for me, the latter for my wife. ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T11:05:22-05:00
@CB, that is pretty cool, I wouldn't necessarily have expected you guys to have something like that in your neck of the woods! If I could use my knees, I would definitely be interested in some curling! Its like giant crokinole or shuffle board! Both of which I enjoy, even though I'm not very good at them... ;)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T11:06:37-05:00
@CB, glad you're getting crabs! ;) Not sure if its on the truck for today or not for me. I might have to wait another day for crabs to infect my house... ;)
Mike Kabala 2018-02-20T11:10:09-05:00
@BK LOL. I know what you mean about the knees. On Saturday, I pretty much decided to just let my body wipe out completely as long as I could get the stone to make it into the house. If I decide to pull the trigger, kneepads would be my second equipment purchase, right after the shoes.
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell 2018-02-20T11:31:59-05:00
@CB, lol, yeah, I doubt I'd do much better! I could maybe get into that position, but I'd never be able to get up again! Especially in shoes designed to slide on ice... ;) I fell down a couple of winters ago, at a mall on a very icy road, and had to crawl to the curb as I wasn't able to stand up where I was. It was pretty embarrassing tbh. Ever since I had that disease when I was a kid (11), my knees haven't been worth a damn. I've grown used to it, but the worst is when I try to chip into a conversation about bad knees and people look at me and think yeah right. Truth is, when I was 11 I was told I had the knees of a 60 year old, well, I'm 43 now... But its all good, those that know understand at least... ;)
Micah "Zem the Mattress" Philson 2018-02-20T12:19:25-05:00
Wow, super busy in here today! Too bad this time I really don't have time to read it. It was a long day to begin with, plus I took an hour and a half nap because I needed it, now I need to prepare a 20-minute presentation for tomorrow.
`
I don't know if there's anything I could even present for 20 minutes, much less interestingly, much MUCH less in German!
@Zem, lol, when I was single Valentines day was awesome! The clubs would always do some sort of special night and things could and often did get pretty crazy! The saying if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with often applied... ;)

OK, I've got crabs.
@HA, good to see you!
@rod hey! I’ve been lurking for a while bit thought I’d pop in to see how everyone is doing
Glad to see an old friend pop in, @HA.
@HA, doing good on my end, hope things are going good with you!
Well...there goes a bit of money. >.>
@rod no complaints here, just got back from vacation. I’ve noticed you pop up in the polygons comment section too, pretty entertaining over there
I've been avoiding that place...has it kept spiralling downhill?
Pretty much, I’d completely forgotten about it, nice to see I haven’t missed much
Oh yeah, crap, totally forgot! That game looks pretty fun! Unfortunately I'm not going to have a chance probably to get it, at least not for awhile.
As for the rest of the conversation here, I'll have to check back in like half an hour.

@HA, I've actually seen that on several campaigns now. I don't know where or why it started but its so silly. Its like they have decided that the campaign has failed because it is late and ergo, they deserve a refund. Sorry folks, not the case, its still a go, so that $16 or whatever it was, is still required and you won't be receiving a refund because you are impatient... ;)
Well, you can usually direct traffic pretty well if you run out into it. Not sure what that analogy is supposed to mean, but it sounded nice.
`
Hi, HA! Good to see you again!
How in the heck has youvegotcrabs.com never been registered? I mean, it's good for them to have it for the game, but it seems like one of those really weird site names that is inevitably taken.
I see you all are dealing with people who think KS is a store. It's frustrating that people don't read the description of how KS works.
Probably no surprise to anyone, but entitlement trolls have shown up on both EK and BvB updates whining about not getting a special promo code just because they bought something from Elan before.
Well, to be fair, there was plenty to complain about. Neither game was ambidextrous. OR plaid!
Though one was furry.
@Zem, I completely forgot about that. You're right, of course. Also no mention of whether the game is EU Friendly or if sleeves would be available.
What was I thinking?
I had never heard of Kemps before. Some people just don't want to let other people have any fun, I guess
CB, luckily, *most* shipping to the EU worked out in the end. It may not have been quite EU-friendly, so much as EU-tolerated.
Still no word on ambidextrous, plaid, EU-friendly, locally sourced, artisinally grown sleeves, though.
Hey! You guys are forgetting about the scratch 'n' sniff! What about crab trinkets!!! Come on guys!
Scratch 'n' sniff crabs? ... I'll pass.
@Zem, you don't know what you're missing out on! Scratch 'n' sniff crabs is the new thing bro! Its a delicate combination of asian fish market mixed with and an oysters smelly old gym socks...
Keep the crab trinkets away from your nipples. ... just sayin' ...
@CB, well that certainly wouldn't be EU friendly... ;)
Oh, good hell! Somebody call the Waahmbulance for the people commenting on the FB post about You've Got Crabs! Why is it so hard for people to keep negativity to themselves these days?
The examples are limitless, yet the vision/mentality of the complainers is obviously very limited... sigh.
They set themselves up as such easy targets though, I can’t help but have a laugh at their expense. (Oh no, you’re Charging Money for a GAME!) ... LOL!
Morning kittens!
Morning kittens. I got a shipment notice for my crabs. Looks like it's going to take a week for FedEx to walk the package here from Los Angeles.
@CB, dang, I still don't have my shipment notice. I hope that they aren't shipping all the US orders first, but I wouldn't be all that surprised tbh. Fingers crossed they don't wait too long, I could use the game next weekend for a buddies b-day party.
@Zem, I hope you have a great time in Prague. Isn't that where the movie Hostel takes place? ;)
Morning kittens. Only 8 hours(hopefully less) to go this week.
Morning, kittens! Zem, enjoy Prague! I've heard that is one of THE European cities to visit. I can't really say, myself, having never been.
For some reason, Prague sounds way cooler than Council Bluffs.
Well kittens, I may check in tomorrow, I may not. If not, then talk to you all sometime after I get back(sometime after the 24th). You all take care of yourselves.
@GM, I hope you have a great time! Best of luck with your travels, and I look forward to you tales of adventure! ;) Cheers!
Got my crabs shipment notice. It’s due in on Wednesday. One week from the order date to delivery, not too bad from LA to the great white north
Morning kittens!
@HA, I got me some sweet sweet notification of the same! Next Wednesday Canada's getting crabs! Whoot Whoot! I can't wait to bust out those crab claws!
Morning kittens. Looks like next Wednesday is THE DAY for all of us to get crabs!
@BK, wishI could come. I would definitely bring the kielbasa!
@CB, thats what I was going to bring! But I thought that the CCB would go over slightly better... ;) Its always a big hit at my Halloween party!
@CB, also, wish you could come up too! Bit of a drive though... ;)
So do we need to add crabs to the list of items in the Master List? We already have kittens and diapers.
@BK, I was halfway there a week ago. Hope you have a great sausage party.
@CB, what about crab cream? ;) You know, cause everyone will already have crabs.... ;)
@BK, LOL, but we really should keep Blackest Friday kid-friendly if we can.
"Mom, what's crab cream for?"
"Um, go ask your father."
...
Snazzy new suit, CB! (your new profile icon)
`
Also, BaKhan, get ready for plenty of jokes of everyone getting mad at you for giving them crabs. And then for someone who wasn't there to hear about it and get really, really confused.
Also, I know it's the old profile pic from EK, but it's new now, and it's good to see again!
Well, you do have to be strategic in how you pick your signal(s). The reason James and I won by so much was that Jess and Kyle picked a simple signal and were super obvious about it, so I was able to steal all their points
But, for the most part, it is a game for kids to play
Morning kittens!
So I survived the long weekend with my in-laws! Can we have the Olympics on everytime they come? It made it so much easier! Not to mention its pretty awesome watching your tiny country win so many events! Whoo whoo! ;)
@CB, you're totally right of course... it should be the dad explaining the crab cream! ;) And yeah, you've got a good point there too. Something to keep in mind, is what will our target audience be, and what way can we tailor the game to fit?
@LZ, thats awesome that you have your game already! Mine is supposed to be delivered today! I can't wait to take this to my friends sausage party this Saturday! I know its aimed low, or for kids, but with the amount of inebriated folks there, we will be like children, mentally... ;)
@Zem, glad you're having a good time! Its pretty exciting reading up on your overseas adventures! Hope you're keeping your grades up! ;)
@BK yeah, hockey is way more interesting than half-pipe skiing and the other ridiculous things they show in prime time coverage. I am SO grateful that we have the option to choose what we want to watch via online streaming!
Wow, looks like I will get crabs tonight! My packageis Out For Delivery! ... WOOT!!!
Sure saved the day for both hockey and figure skating, the former for me, the latter for my wife. ;)
@CB, that is pretty cool, I wouldn't necessarily have expected you guys to have something like that in your neck of the woods! If I could use my knees, I would definitely be interested in some curling! Its like giant crokinole or shuffle board! Both of which I enjoy, even though I'm not very good at them... ;)
@CB, glad you're getting crabs! ;) Not sure if its on the truck for today or not for me. I might have to wait another day for crabs to infect my house... ;)
@BK LOL. I know what you mean about the knees. On Saturday, I pretty much decided to just let my body wipe out completely as long as I could get the stone to make it into the house. If I decide to pull the trigger, kneepads would be my second equipment purchase, right after the shoes.
But its all good, those that know understand at least... ;)
I gotta say, I just LOVE doing look back! /s
Why can't people pay attention to their jobs?
I’m getting crabs today! Just checked on the tracking and it’s coming a day early!
@LZ, I feel your pain! Seriously people, we don't have time to do your jobs for you! If you don't want to do your job, thats cool, see ya later!
@HA, mine is out for shipping too! Huzzah!
Mine's at my apartment office. Gotta remember to pick it up on my way home.
Wow! The smell was really strong when I opened up my box of imitation crab claws! They smell absolutely TOXIC!!!
